Very smart and has a lot of valuable info to share. usually has great advice, too. although she's mad knowledgeable, she's very apathetic and is unnecessarily grumpy sometimes. it was hard, but research will be hard no matter who you take it with. I'd recommend her.

Eve can be harsh at times, but she is an expert on research. If you go to class & do the assignments, there's no way to fail her class. She genuinely wants everyone to pass. She is incredibly helpful; ask for help & she will tell you exactly what to do to improve. Research is challenging, but she makes it easy, fun and you will actually learn.

Eve's class was surprisingly interesting. Although the research project could be stressful at some times, she helped you out every step of the way. She breaks the project down for you step by step and is always there if you have any questions. She is rather strict, but that was ok as she kept you on task and you did not fall behind on the project.

Crime & Society looks & seems like an easy online class with Eve until you get your grade! She gives high volumes of work w/ little feedback. Her doctrine is in Epidemiology & spends a lot her time doing research, therefore, she barely has time to dedicate to students. Seems uninterested in them & reluctant to help. Better researcher than professor

Eve is not very helpful and holds her students to high expectations. She is a extremely harsh grader that gives an immense amount of work. She hardly explains assignments assuming everyone understands the material. She is terrible at replying to emails as well. She takes attendance immediately... 3 lates equals 1 absence in her book.

I don't know about regular class, but never take an online class with her. Unclear with assignments and she does not give any grades until the very end. I was shocked when the B+/A- i expected turned out to be a C-. She single handedly tainted my GPA.

I love Eve! she is the best. I feel like the people up here complaining are those who like to half ass work. I passed all her classes with an A/A+ except for soc of violence which was a writing intensive course.

I enjoyed her class and was planning on taking her soc of violence class until it came time for her second group project. Didnt explain the project, didnt give useful email reply concerning the project. grading was based on 10 1 page reflections, 2 group projects, attendence and a final paper that was customized for each person in the class

She is awful! DO NOT TAKE HER CLASSES IF YOU CAN HELP IT! She is rude an super hard and plays favorites. She has no tact and made me hate what she was teaching. Clearly the people who liked her on here were her favorites. Unfortunately, although I worked hard, I wasn't. Stay away!!

if you need to take Social Stats for your major,she's the professor to take it with.i'm terrible at math but so far i have an A- in her class and i haven't been confused or lost yet.don't let the class intimidate you,she knows what she's doing.she's also a really fair grader,even though the work seems to be difficult at first glance on the syllabus

There's alot of work to do but it's not pointless. You read articles and write reflections. Throughout the semester you will be in a group doing a research project which is big part of your grade. But Waltermaurer is really helpful and if you do the work on time and well she'll be nice and really cool (just watch out if you get on her bad side)
