She is a very good professor, and is so understanding and willing to help. However, you must attend class, or you won't pass. Attendance is mandatory. I would definitely take her again!

She is a good professor, and she will help in any way possible. If you are a slacker, do not take her, you have to work for your grade. You earn it she does not give them out. She is understanding if you have a good reason for missing, but make sure you have a documented excuse.

Comment:

Math 160 is a very difficult class, but she made it tolerable and easier to learn. She splits logic, algebra, and statistics into 5 weeks and gives a test after each. She lets you correct your tests for half points back as well. She is available to help and follows strictly to her lectures. One of my favorite math teachers I have ever had.

There is so much content to cover but only a very small percentage of that content is covered on the Exams, so I found myself studying the wrong things. I wish she would've given us some sort of guide. Also, she makes you record yourself on a webcam when you take the Exams, which is a little much in my opinion. We are college students, not kids.

Her online Math130 class is really straight forward. You do ch. 1-7, but only part of 6. She is helpful if you ask for it. She will reply almost immediately to e-mails. Her tests are on webcam, & 25 questions so you can only miss 2,3 to get an A. She gives 3 tests, a final, & the online work. However you do on your tests, will determine your grade

I had Evelyn for MTH 102B. It was an online course and extremely hard. She had to follow the rules, so the class was kind of beyond her control. Hawkes Learning were the ones over it, she was just the teacher and had to help us. If it weren't for her and her being understanding, I would not have passed. She truly cares about you. Take her!!!

Evelyn is just simply an extremely unpleasant person. She had quite an attitude when answering emails despite this being an online class, and her exams were completely different than the learning material. She also will talk big about helping you on blackboard collaborate, however she doesn't follow through. For an online class, take someone else!!

I loved having Evelyn for FYS. She went out of her way to make sure that our project we had to do was enjoyable for us to do, but also helped us learn. If I ever need to take a math class, she will be first on my list.

I loved this lady! She was so cool and understanding. We could correct our tests for half the points missed, homework is not mandatory, and there are a lot of points, so your tests aren't such a big deal. I hate math, but I loved Evelyn. I honestly wish I could take her again!!

FYS100 is Marshall's biggest joke of a class ever, but Evelyn was awesome to have for it. She's quirky and really funny. She is also very understanding if you have to miss class and laid back about turning in work a little late. If she teaches any of the math requirements I need, I will definitely take her - loved her.

Shaped the class to fit our need. Tests were MUCH EASIER than expected. Very good at explaining. Worked at a slower pace. Sense of humor. DRIVES A MOTORCYCLE (Shes probably late 50s). I would recommend you take this teaecher!

This class was very difficult.I've made good grades in my other math classes But in this class I was surprised and shocked when i ended up with a D. The tests were very hard and I used my book. I could not get threw the 25 question test in the 2 hours that was given. Her instructions were not clear. I would not recommend this class to anyone.

I took this as an online class. Dr. Pupplo-Cody, is such an understanding professor and she will not fail you if you just try and give it your all. Her online tests were some of the hardest I have even seen in my life. To pass this online class you MUST practice the problems in the book and you must read the book, no other way you can pass!
