I love Prof Prasad!This class is super easy & she's very helpful & straightforward.Sometimes, she's not clear so you have to ask 5 times what she wants.Quizzes every week, but practice quizzes beforehand.Wear central gear and you get +1, your whole group wears it and its +2.You are allowed a formula sheet for exams & study guides cover it exactly.

Class is pretty easy. Midterm and final, essay format with problems but you get the questions ahead of time. If you get an A on the midterm, you don't have to take the final. Group cases pretty easy. Pop quizzes rare. Definitely better then other profs that teach this class. Will help you figure out anything. Definitely take Prasad!

Such an amazing teacher. I hate finance and I ended up with a B in her class. Class is extremely structured & she gives quizzes every Friday. She helps you with quizzes and wants to see you pass. Midterm exactly like study guide and she does a great way of preparing you for everything!

I liked Dr. Prasad. The practice quizzes we took before each real quiz were saviors. If you do not understand the subject material, wait until after you take the practice quiz, it should clear it all up for you. The class wasn't overly boring eaither, something that i didn't expect.

I love Rose! The class wasn't terribly hard, but attendance really helped along with the central gear spirit points. The practice group quizzes were nice and she is more than willing to help if you don't understand something!!

Rose is a surprisingly interesting and entertaining prof if you care at all for finance. I enjoyed her class because it was both straightforward and extremely easy. If you get her for Fin 302 its your lucky day. Easy A.

Dr. Prasad is a great teacher. You have a quiz every friday(MWF) or thursday(TR). These are very easy as long as you do the practice quiz. On the quiz day she will give you extra points for wearing CMU clothing and even on the exams too. She is very helpful, when I started this class I didnt like FIN but now I signed a major cuz of her.

Rose is a great teacher. You have a practice test/exam before a test/exam, and you get extra credit just for wearing central stuff. I thought she explained things well, and did practice problems to further clear thing up. There is no homework problems due. She also did a great job helping with the CORE project. I definitely recommend taking her.

Good prof/good class. Two exams, final cumulative. She allows a formula sheet on both exams. 13 quizzes. Wear CMU or professional dress for extra credit on all quiz/exam days. Requires you to read some Wall Street Journal articles. Also requires you to do "Stock Trak" game and assigns you a grade without giving you the tools to do well.

She is a good FIN teacher, I suggest her to all my friends that need to pass FIN. Quizzes are what help teach the material. Just ask questions if you dont get it. She's helpful and shows you how to use the calculater. Midterm was hard to finish but the class isn't bad at all.

Grandma Rose runs an open forum style class with tons of discussion. She rarely teaches and I don't feel like I learned anything from this class. Most work was in-class and group. Term paper topic was your choice, which made it easy. Overall decent and easy class. Take it.
