Honestly one of the worst professors Ive encountered. I took an online class with her too, mind you. She doesnt answer questions, and if you email her she is rude and condescends you. I wouldnt recommend her for anyone learning needing to take an English course, she would be better suited at a different college.

This professor was not helpful AT ALL!!!! I asked her for help and she basically told me to figure it out on my own. After I attempted to do that, I received many failing grades on my assignments. She also wrote many rude comments on papers as if I'm illiterate. I don't recommend her to anyone

Worst professor I've ever had! She is rude and has no respect for her students! She expects you to be a professional writer and expects you to be writing doctorate papers. DO NOT take this professor no matter what you do!

This class format is nothing like any online class I have ever taken. The format is impossibly unintuitive. The text is nonsensical, as are the paper topics. You are required to buy the textbook (written by her), and another book which appears to be written by a colleague. It is obvious she does not attempt to understand argumentative topics posted

I think Dr. Fairy is better suited for English majors or graduate students, however, she's okay. One of the toughest graders I've experienced, but her intentions are good. There's two big extra credit assignments - do them!! Take her feedback and apply it. Also, ask questions and interact with her, she likes it and it'll help you in the long run.

DO NOT TAKE THIS TEACHER!!!!! She grades based on how much she likes you, and she makes it VERY obvious if she doesnt like you. If you dont buy the book SHE wrote, you wont pass the class. She takes everything very personal. Please save yourself the trouble and dont take a class with her. Youll regret it. I promise you.

Awful Teacher. Disrespectful. Rude. Hateful. Made you come to class and write a five paragraph paper during conferences. Worst teacher I have ever had. I would have never taken this class if I knew what she was like and will NEVER take a class with her again. Only tells you everything you do wrong but not how to fix it. Borderline sexual harassment

I took this online. I would recommend this class to anyone who is willing to work. My final grade was an A+ which I was surprised about because I got a few bad grades. The information you need is given to you, it just needs to be applied. I definitely learned valuable info in this class. She was not mean at all (but I never saw her in person).

My mom passed away during her class in 2015. She was very understanding of my feelings and cared deeply. Ended up finishing her class with a 3.5. She is very difficult and a hard grader but, I recommend her! If you don't plan on coming to class everyday, I wouldn't take her class. If you actually want to learn something take her class!

I was a single mom of two kids when I went to college. Ms. Scott was tough but fair. She saw I was willing to learn and took me under her wing. I received A+'s in her classes which led me to believe I could achieve even greater successes . Her class is a metaphor for life. You get out of it what you are will to put into it Thank you, Prof. Scott!

Dr. Fairy is a difficult professor to take. I finished the class with a 4.0 but I constantly was checking with her in her office hours to make sure I was writing things how she wanted. You must come to class and do all the assignments. If you are interested and work hard, she will help you.

Doctor Fairy Hayes-Scott is an incredible English teacher. While the class is challenging, you always learn something new with each day you attend. She is full of energy and puts daily life into her lectures. You need to attend class though, because each class she goes over new criteria and gives out amazing tidbits. Make sure to use your textbook!
