Dr Chen gives very clear notes which helps because he does have a thick accent. He wants you to succeed and is more than helpful when you talk to him in his office. Would highly recommend.

Great Guy! He is always willing to help and trys to make everything very clear. Gives plenty of notes which are very helpful especially since he has a thick accent. He is a pretty good prof. I would recommend him to a friend.

You know, I really don't want to harp on the language barrier, but it's there... and it's bad. It made it impossible for me to understand, and I feel like I'm wasting my money going to this school. He also makes numerous small mistakes. All this is funny at first, but it soon becomes annoying, and then works its way to extremely frustrating!

I enjoyed his class, he does have a bit of trouble speaking english, but once you get used to it, its ok. Questions are hard to ask because most of the time he doesnt understand them. His tests are great, assignments are given every week so it keeps you on top of whats going on -- great class!

I liked him as a prof. His tests are pretty good because he puts a lot of questions from your assignments on them and he offers lots of help with figuring out the answers in his help classes. He does have a bit of a language barrier but once you get used to him he is not that hard to understand.
