She has interesting lectures on the big philosophical questions but its impossible to take any notes because she is so disorganized with her approach and puts nothing in the board. Class had 4 inclass essay tests and 2 outside essays, that plus attendance (can only miss 2 classes) is all you are graded on

Good-hearted person who is easy to talk to. Only a couple tests and couple short papers determine your grade from the 2 classes I've taken with her. Tests are generally easy and she allows a notecard.

VERY confused why anyone likes this woman. She is incredibly rude, and bitter. I do not find her class interesting whatsoever. Terrible, terrible teacher. I regret taking her class this semester.

Philosophy of Animals was a great class learned alot. Requires critical reading of text. Provides clear guidelines for all the work for those students who are willing to attend class and read great class. Second class I have taken and am signed up for a third. Not a class for slackers.

Took Animals of Philosophy for an easy A, IT IS NOT. She is the most unfair grader I have ever had. I tried extremely hard to get a good grade and received Cs. She would give you a vague set of guidelines and then afterward would send emails yelling at students for not adding specific people/ information not previously mentioned. AVOID

Great professor. I have taken her philosophical ethics class and Philosophy of Animals. She takes notice if you put in effort and attend all classes. She is great to talk to and EXTREMELY knowledgable on all of the topics of courses she teaches. Very reasonable and understanding. Also we got to go to her farm for philosophy of animals!

Prof. Bjalobok is a good teacher, her style can be a little confusing at first but after the first few assignments it becomes clear. She has a lot of knowledge on the class material and is usually readily available for help outside of class. She is one of the best professors I have ever taken.

Very good teacher. There is one paper assigned that was very easy, a case presentation, and three tests. Make sure to attend all classes. She gives bonus points at the end of the semester if you do. There was assigned reading for each class but I never read it. She can be opinionated sometimes but I would highly suggest taking her.

Phil. of Law was a very interesting class. Faith is very knowledgable, and class discussions were always fun. However, she was VERY unclear on her expectations for papers/tests, which resulted in poor grades for everyone. She had to even offer rewrites because of the poor grades. Her grading is much too harsh, especially because of her unclearness

I'm not sure why everyone likes Faith so much. I found her boring and slightly rude. It's cool how she cares about animals so much and knows a lot about law, but the class was boring. There are 3 pop quizzes that she uses for attendance all year. They are worth more than an exam! I didn't use the textbook really. Tests and papers aren't too bad.

Not exactly impartial, VERY obvious what her opinion is. Regardless, she is not hostile to outside opinions. Attendance is important, but test questions are always given beforehand and can be found in readings. Good class for PHIL reqs

Faith is great! Go to class and take notes. She gives you the essay topics for the exams - which is the entirity of the exam. There's a group presentation and a research paper, both of which were super easy. Make sure to speak up, bc if no one talks (like my class) it's super awkward & she gets annoyed.

An awesome teacher! She encouraged/didn't put down anyone's opinions and answered any questions. Papers were thought-provoking. Learned about a lot of current issues while covering all sides. Quizzes easy if you pay attention. READ THE BOOK- for class points and for your own learning. You'll get so much out of this class. Take her class if you can!

Faith is an extremely interesting teacher who cares about her students reading and learning though she expects you to be adults and take this responsibility upon yourselves. You will only penalize yourself by not reading or coming to a class you pay for but you can still pass. Loved her as a teacher!!!

I had Faith for Philosophy of Animals and I loved it! It is ethics applied to Animals and though some days make you REALLY sad, it opens your eyes and makes you even more of an animal lover. She is pretty easy - wrote 2 essays and midterm and final were essays but you just have to KNOW the theory & what you want to say and you will be FINE!!!!!
