Childress is extremely knowledgeable on tough subjects for most students. She gets her points across, but does expect you to know what you are talking about on her essay tests. If you are a history major, I would take her. If you are not and are not interested in her subjects (middle east/south asia), then I would avoid her.

Wow, what an inspiring and incredible professor. She knows absolutely everything and she is fantastic in explaining it to the class. Unfortunately for us, she expects a LOT out of the students. There is a lot of work and the tests are not easy. Although you might get a grade you didn't want, taking a class with her is worth it for the experience.

Dr. Childress expects a lot, but you get what you put in... so you come out of the class having learned a lot. Come to class prepared, do the material she assigns, and take decent notes, and the class will reward you with an A, and a lot of knowledge. Don't come prepared and... you'll pay for it!

Wow, this class was super hard and she expects a ton out of you. Definitely read every assignment. Come to class and BE ON TIME!!! If you go to class the reading will be a lot clearer to you. She will ask you questions and you will be expected to know the answer. STUDY for tests, because you can't BS your way through essays-BE SPECIFIC!

Faith is an amazing teacher. She is really hard and gives a lot of busy work but as long as you do the work how she wants it done you will have no problems. And go to her class. She hates when you miss. Do not eat in her class and use the bathroom before her class.
