Prof. Cook's class has a good outline and structure, but she is incredibly disconnected from her students. She teaches classes in a graduate program as if they are middle-school or high-school classes, without understanding that her students want to be here. The concept of the class is good, but a new professor is needed to teach this level course.

This material in Intro to Disease is very interesting, but the way she teaches it is very boring. Reads DIRECTLY off the powerpoint and felt like I learned nothing. She doesn't make the exams hard. As long as you read her notes over and over, you will be fine. Overall not a hard class, just very boring.

I had Dr. Cook for Intro To Health and i loved her! The class was very easy, I never studied for her exams and always got A's. She does take attendance everyday which kind of sucks. You also have homework a lot, but it isn't hard or time consuming. Definitely recommend her! Also, don't buy the textbook!!!

I had Dr. Cook for Intro to Health and i loved her! Her class is very easy and all her notes are fill in the blank. Her exams are mostly common sense and I rarely ever studied for them. She assigns worksheets for homework, but they're very easy. Only bad thing about her class is she passes around an attendance sheet every day. Would recommend!

Dr. Cook's Intro to Health class is very easy. Her tests are based off what she covers in class, which come directly from the textbook. She always tries to engage students, and encourages comments and questions. Overall, she is a pleasant person and a great professor to take for Intro to Health.

She is a nice person but a very boring teacher. She teaches everything but her exams are very hard...harder than my anatomy and bio exams... you never ever use the book, no even once. She takes attendance EVERYDAY! I won't ever take her again...ever. Take bower he is so funny.

I had Fay Cook for Intro to Health. The class is fairly easy, I never studied. But DO NOT BUY THE BOOK! I book the book and never opened it once! It cost me $90 and I only got $60 back for it.

Sweet lady, but this class was so elementary, I can't imagine how she could have made it interesting.The info was stuff learned in middle school. Keep in mind that YOU MUST GO TO CLASS; I would have gotten an A had it not been for the fact she makes such a big deal about attendance...if you can stand sitting in class, it will be an easy A for you..

This class is very cut and dry, but the material is common knowledge. Attendance is part of the grade so I recommend going to class. I sold my book online a month after this class started because Dr. Cook never uses the book. This class is an easy A or B depending if you put little or no effort into the class.

this class is so easy. dont even buy the book you wont use it at all. All the exams come right from the notes. she is kinda crazy and if she doesnt like you she will let you know it, but overall she is ok. attendence counts so come to class and she offers alot of extra credit.

Easiest A of the semester. Basically all commen sense knowledge and if you hand everything in you'll be fine. Class is boring but she gives you everything you need to know and grades all of her projects leaniantly. If you have to take intro to health definatly grab Cook.

Easy A. She pretty much gives you the notes for the class, I didn't even study, the material is made for junior high, it is definately an INTRO to course, quizes are common sense and the tests are extensions are the quizzes, I felt like it was a waste of my time it was so easy, a GPA padder. She is a good teacher though, I would recommend her.
