Her lectures are so unclear. She expects you to learn all information from the massive amounts of online homework she assigns, then uses lecture as a meh review. She gives lots of participation credit, which means you must go to class. Her review for tests are unclear. She doesn't give a clear expectation. She requires so many books.

She is very helpful if you attend her office hours. She lectures kind of vaguely and you have to read the book to understand some concepts but she touches upon the important things. She provides a lot of extra credit from her clicker polls and study sessions before each exam. Ask her questions as she has a lot to teach and never makes you feel dumb

Difficult subject, she doesn't lecture. You HAVE to go to class on time to get credit. You can pass as long as you do extra credit, do your homework, and just show up. I didn't pass her tests but I still got a B because I did my work. It's all groupwork (POGIL)

BEWARE OF HER. she makes you do worksheets in class there are no lectures, she makes you feel stupid for not knowing something. Tests are DIFFICULT, and her "study exams" will only make you more confused. Oh and you absolutely HAVE TO BE 5 minutes early because that's when she starts class and gives the quiz.

I had Professor Cousins for my Chem 206 Lab and she was amazing! I would constantly ask her questions and she would always be there to answer and explain things to me. The lab itself was pretty easy, you get the lab-book so you don't have to worry about buying one. I would defiantly take Professor Cousins again.

We always work in groups. Class is really easy if you pay $14 for 50 points worth of extra credit by signing up for poll everywhere. If you want an a, you will get one if you read and use her office hours.

I will definitely miss Organic Chemistry. Dr. Cousins made this class an enjoyable experience. She is very helpful in clarifying the material and fair in her grading. Her test questions are similar to the questions on the online homework, so practicing the homework problems WILL help you do well in this class.

Organic Chemistry is NOT easy. But if you do have to take it, Dr. Cousins is the best teacher you could ever hope to have!! She is very helpful and understanding! Her tests are hard, but her extra credit assignments and online homeworks help make up for that.

She is extremely nice and very helpful! I have her for lab too, and is even more helpful then! Honestly, the class was very challenging for me at first, but she makes it so easy. Chem is not my interest at all, and I'm only taking for my major. she makes it such a breeze! If you study and take advantage of her study sessions, you will pass!

Dr. Cousins is enthusiastic, very helpful, and definitely cares about what she is doing. My only issue is that the class is way too easy, and she gives out too much extra credit. About to take the final tomorrow, and to get an A, I need a 41%. This final is worth 30% on the class scale. Things like that shouldn't happen.

Dr. Cousins has an amazing gift and it is teaching. Her group activities were a waste of time since you learn nothing from your peers. It was probably due to the fact I admired her teaching so much. She will make ochem such an interesting and understandable topic. She is definitely one of the best professor at CSUSB and my greatest influence.

She will help you any way she can if you're unclear. Was nominated for the Golden Apple award because she's so awesome. She makes ochem interesting!
