He is very nice! we mostly had to do the math lap which is on the computer, i got excempt from taking the finale and im horrible at math.His test are simple and is basically what he gives you to review just different numbers.I liked the class.

If you don't understand math do not take him. He doesn't teach much of anything so using MyMathLab is critical. If you're a good math student though he is SO easy 2 tests and he never checks homework closely. If you have a B or better you don't have to take the final so for me I loved this class.

Not very helpful in class. When you ask questions he doesnt answer is clearly. You have to kno the material or your grade will suffer! When in doubt do my math lab. Always left during class when he handed out the take home tests so you couldnt ask for help. Glad the class is over. Only take him if its an emergency.

Might as well just take the online course... all I do (still in this class) is sit in class confused by what he is talking about only to go home and teach myself from the book and the online MathLab. Nice and sometimes funny guy but otherwise I HATE THIS CLASS. Statistics is a very difficult subject and Prof. Flores should consider other options. (Update: 12/10/08- I am shocked that I have received an A- in this course... he gave one exam- that I got a 65 on- and two projects- that were EASY- and online homework that you can do over until you get 100%. He really is a nice guy and just wants you to get an A if you do the work he assigns. However, I still think he's a****ty professor... I can't say I know too much about stats other than what I learned to do on the TI-83)

I have NO idea why anybody gave this teacher a good rating. He is a HORRIBLE teacher. I would of been better off taking an online class because your basically teaching yourself. He jumps around WAY to much, doesn't explain anything and expects you to know everything he throws at you. DO NOT TAKE HIM!!

Great Guy! Very helpful. Wont let you leave with anything less than a B. He is always willing to help. If you struggle in math, this guy will get you through the course. He does have an accent, that can be difficult to understand but it wont be a problem. Highly recommended!

failed algebra roughly 2 times before taking it with mr. flores. a GREAT professor. he's got the foreign accent which makes it hard to understand him from time to time, but it's nothing too extreme. he'll help you out if you need it. tests are decently easy, and homeworks can be b s'd. good man

His accent sometimes made him difficult to understand, but he tries to give you multiple ways to do problems so you'll do better. He'll even let you get ahead and finish the course early if you can learn it on your own. I got an A- and I might take a class with him again if I need another one he taught.

excellent teacher,great person.very smart,always willing to help out..The part that stinks is the whole math dept. needs to rethink the graphing calculator thing, I did not do well on the pre nursing exam(well enough to pass a little above avg.)no calculator on those exams and the algebra classes are driven by that darn calculator! TGTBH!!
