His powerpoint organization is not as clear as he thinks it is. A lot to memorize and only grades based on tests and 2 quizzes. You need to take extremely good notes in order to get all answers on the test right and some might not even be the lecture.

His notes don't help out at all and his grading sucks. He doubles your grade on the third exam so if you did bad it sucks for you and tells you to run and don't take the last exam if you have

This guy is super bitter. Such an ****, but if you copy the notes and study the powerpoint you should be fine. Unfair grader though, I had B's in all my tests and somehow I ended up with a D. He was never available to talk about it and I ended up with the D. Does not care, period!

Prof. Gomez has numerous postings regarding his lack of interest in students and overall apathy towards life. All I can say is that all of you who are WASTING TIME crying and whining about how he sucks or how hard he is should reconsider the health care profession. As for me he was professional and a no nonsense instructor. GO STUDY!!!!

At first he come out like the biggest jerk, but then you realize that is all a front. He is not such a bad guy after all, you learn a lot in his class and as long as you are good at taking notes you will be fine. Do not waste you money in buying the book you'll never need it. He seemed really cool at first, but after a few test i thought i had a good grade in the class and i was WRONG. We had to make a presentation on a bacteria, and when i was done i asked him what my score was and he did not want to tell me. He is bitter and mean, and doesn't go to class 50% of the time.
