This class is more about the experience than busy work. Very straight to the point, no pop-quizzes or lots or random assignments. Read your readings and complete the pre-class quizzes and interact with him and the class. Professor Reati always makes class interesting. He includes songs, pictures and videos to help you understand the material better. If you just listen and write down what he says you will pass the test. He gives study guides out! Reati is very understanding and reachable. His stories are interesting and he likes participation

He's a excellent man, professor and human-being. He's modest about being a southamerican "famous" writer, and teaches with passion and authority. If you speak Spanish really well, this class is a sit and take to go class. Moderate amount of homework and papers, which was good. You'll end your semester lecturing other teachers :)

Dr. Reati is super intelligent, sweet and makes the cutest jokes. You can really learn a lot from him if you pay attention- I wish less people would be on Facebook on their laptops during class. He knows his material inside and out and is quite gifted. He only gives take-home exams which are quite long, but not difficult if you pay attention (!).

A graduate student was teaching my class. Her name is Jennifer Lawhendr. She is nice. I loved her lecture. It was fun. Listening part of the test was kind of hard. You can not miss more than two days. Otherwise, you loose points toward final grade. Keep eye on quia for h.ws
