She's very nice and more concerned with students' learning than how well they can follow directions, unlike CHEM 6BL...lab reports take about 15 hours each, but there are only 4 of them...3 midterms, no final, the class is the best UD lab you can take

Great professor.friendly and extremely helpful OH. yes, labs were long but interesting. usually get out early. one tiny drawback is that i never got half of my lab reports+exams back. either the TA, school mailing, or the professor herself is to blame..who knows..

Labs take up a lot of time - get out early sometimes. Lectures 2x/wk the day of the lab. TA grades everything. Make sure you understand everything before leaving lab in order to do well on the lab reports (ask TA for help). OH always held for help. Gould cares more about you learning than your grade

Labs take up a lot of time to write but not too bad if you know what you're doing. The midterms are okay if you study the practice questions. The professor is always willing to help and holds OH which are really helpful. She's really easy to talk to.

great prof...really caring. lab manuals may be a bit confusing, but if you read them beforehand, lecture clears them up. she's around during lab to answer questions, which is nice, and has review Q&A sessions that are helpful.

She talks fast in lecture, and it's a little confusing but she's completely approachable. Just go up and talk to her because she's knowledgeable. The class is a LOT of work but extremely interesting -- hang in there!

Dr. Gould lectures extremely fast and mumbles. Her study guides, tests, and lab report guides often have typos. However, the material is very interesting and I would definitely recommend the course. And Gould is genuinely caring, sweet. Great talking to her out of class, so go to office hrs!

very interesting course, however, Dr. Gould cover the material rather complicate and fast... sometimes she talk too fast, and with find whatever to say at the end when finish early..which make things more complicated...lab manuals are confusing..

She goes through her lectures kind of fast, and sometimes she's confusing, but overall, she's a good prof. She provides really useful study guides. The lab reports take too much time, but the labs are so interesting that you don't realize you've spent 4 hours in lab, until you've finished.

this year she has decided to jack us all. therefore the exams are much trickier and harder, the labs are graded much harder, and so everytime you get something graded back, you feel like a failure! she is a nice professor, the labs itself aren't bad
