Starts off hard but you get used to the quizzes every week. it is tricky but you soon get the hang of it if youre smart enough. i got all As on the three paper by doing the outline and giving a reasonable argument for my stance. 1.5 hours are hard though to stay awake in. he gives all the slides by email and he is very reachable through email.

What can I say about Devine that has not been said before? Yes, his quizzes are very specific but half of them were take home. His midterm was easy, and his final was pretty much opinion/personal questions mixed in with some fact questions. He is stuck in his ways, and you'll feel like he's indoctrinating you but overall he's a good, charming man

This guy is probably the worst teacher I have ever had at St John's thus far! He gives insanely unfair quizzes and theres an assignment every week! But the worst thing is that hes so mean and soo inconsiderate... he cares nothing for his students...I asked him to help me with an assignment but he just yelled at me and made excuses. HORRIBLE TEACHER

He's a nice professor. Gives quizzes once a week.You need to know the exact info. one word can change the whole quiz question. Writing assignments are decently graded. I recommend service learning to those who like volunteering and do not like writing papers.

he's really sarcastic, but he's a nice person. just don't get on his bad side. talk about morality and just agree with him. wording on his weekly quizes are REALLY tricky. case studies are the easiest. suck up and participate so that he knows your name.

I think he hates life. If you ask a question, he gives you an attitude. Always keep what he hands back because he is not very organized. He handed my paper back with a grade on it and then yelled at me for not handing it in. He felt like an idiot when I showed him the paper. Don't take him.

He teaches an interesting class, but could care less about you personally. If you miss a quiz, no matter what the reason, he will not cut you any slack and so, your grade will suffer. Not the nicest of people. The 1 1/2 hour lecture seems more like 3 hours---time drags.
