First off he looks like George from Seinfield, he is absolutely hilarious and you get to watch 2 movies during the semester. You can either write a paper or do a test which is super easy because he gives you the answers!! Take this guy for a simple class.. Love it from George!

I liked this class because we never had to read anything ourselves. If you want an easy English class, this is it. We only had to do 2 short papers and take 3 tests. He talks a lot and very quickly so make sure to take notes because they'll help for the tests. Tests are long and sometimes he doesn't cover all the questions so make sure you study.

2 papers a little bit of tough grader and 3 exams he always get review and tell u exactly what to study exactly. the exam is MC and 1 extra credit. kinda of easy A consider this is lit class it doesnt require much reading at all. not much work seriously. pretty easy A if u listen to u since he will explain to u all the stories crystal clear

Loved his class. Don't need to buy books if you attend every class. Hard grader for essays. Gives guidelines and study guides for tests to help you. Amazing teacher all around, highly recommended. He makes the stories VERY interesting and explains everything and makes each story easy to understand and relate to. LOVED IT!

Father C. is such a great professor with so much love for English that he engages you. He is very clear and explains the poems over and over so that anyone esp non English majors can understand. His tests are pretty fair seeing as he explains all in depth. Lovely man.

Probably the easiest English course at St. John's. English literature may sound boring, but it's the easiest class with Fr.Callaghan. You don't have to buy any of the books, because Fr.Callaghan just tells you what each chapter is about, and then he shows you the movie. The three papers are really easy and easy A's. He gives answers to the midterm.

Fr. Callaghan is a great professor, he loves what he teaches. He has a sense of humor but sometimes it can be dry, most of his homor you have to understand Catholicism. He gives 2 short papers in which you only have to write a opening paragraph to three works and an easy midtem and final. He covers tons of material,puts emphasis on important stuff.

Callaghan is such a great professor. I really enjoyed his class, he explains every story, poem or play to you in depth many times, so when you take the test you don't even have to study from hearing it soo often. His one assignment was so simple, just follow his clear directions and you'll do great. Also the stories he picks are really interesting.

one of the best professors! his class is sooo easy and he is a really funny guy, he has a real dry sense of humor and always keeps class interesting. his projects take 5 minutes to do and the midterm and final are all MC on things he has repeated 400 times. i wish i could take him again, Easy A.

The professor is the MAN! He's a father and he's mad cool. At first he came off a little flamboyant but once you get to know him, he's really cool. He hold weight in CPS so he's your key to getting plugged in. You will enjoy his english class and the movies were really interesting. TRY HIM HE"S GRRRREEEEEAAAAATTTT!
