Professor Campbell makes this course so simple and comprehensible. Although the class only consists of a few assignments, you walk out of there learning so much about our state. I learned more in her class than I usually do in those other test & assignment-heavy courses we're accustomed to. Strongly suggest taking the online course. Do it!

Professor Campbell is honestly one of the best teachers I have ever had at CSN. Her virtual field trips are really interesting to learn. She also replies back to you in an instant and gives really good feedback and advice on how you can improve your paper for the next unit. Overall if I could take her class again I would!!!

I took professor Campbell in the summer of '17 online 4 wk course. Super easy it's normal stuff you have to do. Read articles she tells you (gives you options) write about it. Super easy, very doable and I actually learned things. She was accessible and returns emails.

This was by far the easiest class I have taken at CSN. She is a progressive teacher. You have options to do a lot of book work or do 5 virtual field trips and do a 1 page summary on what you learned. The NV constitution test is easy! You get 5 tries but the professor supplies you with a condensed version of the NV constitution. Just use control+f.

I loved this class, one of my favorite college classes! I took 1 Nevada Constitution Exam, and went on 4 virtual fieldtrips. The virtual field trips made learning about Las Vegas fun. She gives you so many options on every assignment. If I had to take another history class it would hands down be with her. She grades assignments super fast.

Easiest online class ever. It's 8 weeks & I finished the entire workload in 5 days. All you do is read a chapter, take a quiz, & write a discussion post. She gives you 2 tries on every test or you can write a paper instead & there's a required constitution test. 11 assignments total, + if you finish all the work early you get + 5% grade increase.

TAKE THIS CLASS WITH PROFESSOR CAMPBELL! She is amazing, she gives you 2 tries on unit tests and takes the higher score or you could do a paper instead in place of the grade. So 5 tests total or papers. And you have to pass the Constitution test. This was the best class I have ever taken online. You won't regret it & I didn't use my book at all!

I really enjoyed this class. For someone who likes a self-paced class, with clear expectations, this is the class to take. I was allowed to plan my studying and tests around my other priorities. Professor Campbell checks in with you and is available if you need her assistance.

Supper easy. She gives a constitutions test that you get five tries on, and then three test , but you only need to take two. Only one is mandatory because you can go on a filed trip either in person or online to replace the second test.

easiest class I've ever had. I did not even need to read the book. Just study her notes. You just need to pass 3 tests out of 4 to get an A. I took all four in one day and passed all just to be sure. Great lady too, always emails back promptly. Very helpful

Easiest class of my life. 4 tests total. Get a passing grade on 1 test your final grade will be a C. Pass 2, final is a B, pass 3 you get an A. You must read the book and notes before every test. Oh, if you pass one test and fail the other three, you still get a C.

She is really nice, and emailed me quick! I think she cares about her students. I hope you think about taking her. I think history is hard at times, but reading is a key thing you must understand. She had summaries for this class, but she does not always do that. She understands what students are capable of. I really appreciate her help!

Excellent professor. Took 8 week online class. 4 exams, lowest grade is dropped. One discussion entry and one reply to another. I am planning to take Dr. Campbell for History 217.

I usually do not take online courses. This was a 8 week online course. If you read all the material and understand it, you should do fine on the test. However, I felt like there was certain questions that weren't in the assigned reading. She drops your lowest test. You can subsitute a test for a paper (which I recommend)Overall, great online class.

Must read assigned work to pass tests, be very familiar with it.Required discussion posts. Very helpful teacher, responds to email. Drops lowest score or take one less test. Class also includes Nevada Const - think we had 3 tries for that test & it was pass/fail.

Ive taken 4 with her: 101,102, 105, 106 and she is GREAT! I learned so much and it didnt kill me timewise. Online, lots of reading w/ MC exams; drops lowest score; practice tests 1st; option to do a 2 pg pape instead of 1 exam. emails back quickly. I have kids, business and fulltime school and got an A, gives all work up front so can finish early.
