Not very helpful and often rude in her emails. Clear in her assignments, unclear in what she wants from you on test day. Does not stick to the syllabus grade style. Took this alongside a friend and I scored higher on almost everything than her and she received an A while I receive a B. VERY inconsistent. Worst online professor in a gen ed

If you go to class, you'll do fine. She's tough on grading papers and leaves no room for your own writing style. Follow the grammar rules, and you'll do fine. A lot of people say she's scatterbrained, but I like her a lot and plan to take more of her classes! Just show up for her class and you're set!

Dr. Hunter was an excellent professor. She knows her stuff and makes class interesting. I took her as many times as I could and would take her again if I could. People who don't like her are: slackers, students who make excuses (she's heard them all), students who think they can get by without showing up, and students who take life too seriously.

If you act like what she says is the most ingenious thing you've ever heard and a gift from God to mankind you will do just fine. You have to write your papers exactly how she wants them, no room for your own writing style. She teaches her class like she is teaching only to BSE majors, not BAs at all. She's kind of insane. I won't take her again.

Very disorganized. Knows the material, when she can focus long enough to talk about it. Seems to stick pretty much to her first impression, so do well on the first test/paper and you'll probably get good grades on the rest.

This professor is a total joke! she gets paid to ramble about lap dancing teachers, her dog's bowel movements, relationship advice. I hated every moment I was in that class. If you suck up you'll do well. I got 95s on all my papers, mainly because I don't think she was smart enough to think of any corrections. DO NOT TAKE HER!!!

She is a WAKADOO! You won't ever stay on a topic for more that 15 seconds. She's not too hard. She tells you exactly what she wants and she's helpful if you can get her to concentrate for long enough. Normally though, there's no use in trying. She's nuts.

Very interesting teacher. Goes over all material that is on all quizzes and gives the questions for the essay part of the test. Use parts from the stories in your essays and study the characters. I really enjoyed her class and will take her again.

I really enjoyed her. If you get on a good start with he from the beginning you will have a good grade. I know she graded a lot of my quiz/test wrong because she liked me. Just read the book and listen and you should be fine.

The worst teacher at ASU if not the world. Not helpful, rude, dos not value students' opinions or thoughts. She is spacey, forgets grades, and chooses a grade for based on the first paper/test and gives it to you the whole semester. Grades in 5 points-70, 80, 85, 60 never 83, 67, or 74.

She's clear about her expectations, and she doesn't play favorites. Yes, she expects you to know how to use proper grammar by the time you get to college. (How unfair!) I took Dr. Hunter for Comp. I and Comp. II, because she is a good teacher that gives you a challenge in college english. I made a A in her class both semesters; it is easy if you are good at writing essays and keeping up with your notebook. I learned a lot from her classes. Dr. Hunter is a wierd woman to say the least but she knows everything about english and writing. If you are a halfway decent writer and turn in your work you will do fine. She isn't a whole lot of help though she has a great way of making you feel stupid.
