Dr. Annaratone is one of the best professors at UTM. He is knowledgable, engaging, and consistent. We had 3 tests which came directly from the lectures, so take good notes. One group project that is time consuming, but not horrible if you get a good group. The final was not comprehensive, and he offered lots of extra credit. Take him!

He is such a wonderful professor. He really knows the material and wants you to learn it too. Get a good group, and start the big project early and you will be fine. Study your notes and go to class and the tests are not hard. Do all the extra credit - he offers a lot if you just take the time to do it!

I really enjoyed this class. He talked about all kinds of things that were interesting and not just from the book. His tests can be hard b/c they are mostly application, but if you pay attention in class and take good notes, you should be fine. Definitely do the extra credit, b/c it's worth it. I really thought he was a great teacher!

He is a good teacher. But his tests are hard and wordy. Do the EXTRA CREDIT and you will get an A or B. I like him. You have 3 tests and a presentation (he grades lightly)15 points worth of extra credit are available. Go to class, you will learn and get extra credit points. Basically hit up the EXTRA CREDIT!

He is a nice enough man, but not a great teacher. He does very little lecturing, and encourages class paticipation. Tests are crucial in this class, and you really should attend class and take notes, because that is exactly where his tests come from, which are kind of hard. DO THE EXTRA CREDIT!! It can save your grade.

He is a horrible teacher. In class he gets stuff off the internet that does not even pertain to his class. It was a pointless class that will not help me in the future when I become a teacher. His test are horrible. They are difficult because he doesn't teach so you don't know what to study.

Overall a good teacher. Not too many grades though. His tests are almost completely application questions. Even though a textbook is required, you dont use it much. Best bet is buy one with a friend(s) and share it. His notes are long and wordy and lectures get boring.

Why have an advisor when you have him? No help whatsoever! He is a nice man, but this class should be combined with Psych 313- it is basically the same. Talks more about magazine articles and silly internet blogs than actual material that is relevant or helpful. Another waste of my tuition money :-( I think he's the only one teaching this class

I took it in the Spring of 2006 and made a B. Not to scare you but you may want to know... you must attend every class, work hard on your group project because he will tear it and you apart, do every extra credit option he gives you, and know that what ever he lectures on will NOT be on the test, memorize your notes, and follow these suggestions and

He's a very sweet man. He is also very passionate about psyc. ed and loves to make you think. But his questions in class and on the tests are often vague, so they are hard to answer. The tests are completely based on the text and are all application questions. Still, he is VERY patient, helpful, & kind. He uses attendance points, so be present.

Dr.Annaratone is one of my favorite teachers. He tells you exactly what will be on the test the day before, and it IS application mostly, so it is pretty hard, but if you study you will do fine! And the group projects are no big deal! He DOES NOT grade harshly!

as an advisor he was rarely helpful and almost never listened to my preferences. much less could he ever get my name correct. he was my advisor and my teacher you'd think he'd figure it out. our feud used to be legandary. we disagreed on most everything, and he took it out on my grade. in ed psych he talked more about his latest vacation than the topic. sucks on both ends of the stick!

Dr. Annaratone expects a lot as far as testing goes, but he is kind, helpful, interesting, and a concerned teacher. I reccommend him. His tests are 90% APPLICATION so remember this when studying. His group projects he grades harshly on so be a perfectionist if you want full credit.

THIS MAN IS THE WORST HUMAN BEING ALIVE. HE IS TOTALLY DIFFERENT IN THE CLASSROOM. WHEN I AVERAGED MY GRADES FROM THE GRADES THAT HE GAVE ME I RECEIVED A B, BUT HE SAID IT AVERAGED TO A C-LONG STORY SHORT I HAD TO GO TO THE DEAN TO FINALLY GET MY GRADE CHANGED-AVOID HIM AT ALL COST.
