I had Boyd for at least 3 classes. I loved his teaching style so much that I also went to Model UN two years and took a travel Mayterm w/ him. He pushed me towards law school and even wrote an awesome recommendation letter for me! If you are looking for a professor that will be readily available your entire college career and beyond, he's it!

Dr Boyd was by far my favorite professor at Wesleyan. Take him. He'll make you work, but you'll appreciate it. He didn't get voted Professor of the Year for nothing. But be careful after lunch on a warm day, his drawl will put you to sleep.

I HATE PROF. BOYD! He is the worst prof EVER! Avoid him at all costs! His class was boring and his grading made absolutely no sense. Oh and don't even get me started on the insanely ridiculous book we had to read (I don't think he even understood it)!

Comment:

International Politics is my favorite, but hardest class. Boyd is an awesome lecturer and could make anyone interested in politics. I recommend this class 100%, but be prepared to do a lot of reading. Also, stay on top of things for the pop quizzes!
