Prof. Grash is incredible. Having had taken more than four classes with her I have a good understanding of her as a professor and must say that it is dependent on your intelligence if you pass. I have friends who have failed. I pass every time. If you are smart, if you take good notes, you will be fine. If you have trouble learning stay away.

Dr. Grash is a wonderful professor and has an upbeat personality that makes the class entertaining. Her lectures are engaging and usually very interesting, but since there's no textbook you MUST take lots of notes to do well on the exams. Her study guides are helpful and she is always quick to respond to emails.

She's super nice but her expectations are so unrealistically high it's insane. Not understanding at all. Tests are impossible to prepare for and are so specific there is not way to know exactly what to study. Nice lady, awful teacher.

She is an amazing professor. Her class is all lecture, so you need to pay attention to what she is saying. Very nice, understanding, and helpful. She tells you what she is looking for on exams. Every exam she gives out a study guide with all the open ended questions and gives extra credit on last exam. No book or readings for the class either.

She is a very nice lady and maybe even a good professor, but what she expects from her students is absolutely UNREAL. Although you are provided with a study guide a week in advance, there's no way to prepare for the tests, If you don't write down everything she says, you're not going to do very well. If you aren't an art major, please stay away

Dr. Grash gets a bad wrap because her class is hard, but she is WONDERFUL. I had her for Western Art 1 and the only grades were from 4 tests. She is super positive, kind, sweet, and smart. You have to come to class and take good notes. She gives a study guide before each test. If you have to take the class, take her!!!

Amazing! She is an incredibly brilliant lecturer and the subjects of her courses are engaging. Her tests are difficult but she gives you the essays in advance to create an outline for the exam. She doesn't take attendance but if you don't come to class, you will not be able to pass the tests.

If you show up and pay attention you will do good. Lectures are long and can be boring at times but she always adds humor and funny little stories to what she is talking about. The tests are multiple choice with essays, but she gives the essays early so you know what to write. I would definitely take her again.

This professor seems nice but in reality can really be brutal. She told all students who did bad on the FIRST TEST( that they should just drop the class (Not a good way to boost student confidence lady). She also told my friend via email that he will probably fail the class even before the final. (Ps, he got a B no thx to her) Very unprofessional.

What a kind, intelligent teacher! Dr. Grash's Art History classes are both intellectually-stimulating and enjoyable. She gives powerpoint slide notes for every chapter, and she has no attendance policy whatsoever (although it's in your best interest to attend every class). Her exams involve a lot of writing, so be sure to study!

This was a best class I have ever taken! Dr. Grash is extremely helpful, nice, and interesting. Everything is taught in class, so it is good to go if you want to know what is going on. Tests are multiple choice and essay. She gives essays before tests, good to prepare them. If you attend class and study for the tests then you will get an A!

Dr. Grash is one of the best professors i have ever had! She really knows what she is talking about and teaches with energy and enthusiasm. She is very interesting to listen to and has a lot to offer. I now go to the Art institute and have not encountered an art teacher as amazing her. I would say she is one of the best professors in the field.

Dr. Grash is an incredibly energetic and informative teacher. She's extremely friendly and welcoming and her class is very interesting. She is very clear on all subjects, her tests are challenging but in a good sense, and she knows her subject material very well. My favorite professor I had for my first semester at UPJ!
