Class was useless. Two tests a midterm and a final that make up your whole grade. Tests are easy and curved significantly. He wants his students to do well. Only showed up to class twice got an A.

He's a very nice professor but doens't really test on what he goes over in class. His tests are right from the online HW and textbook but they way they are worded can make them difficult to answer. Overall good guy but the class isn't worth going too. Just do the homework (which was about 80 questions a chapter) and read the book and you should ok.

I love him so much. He's the man!! He is funny, his powerpoint really helps you a lot. His tests are not difficult if you do your homework. He usually curves 17 points in every test, so you are gonna be happy with your grade at the end. Tips for getting an A in this class: mastering biology-powerpoint-textbook (just need for a difficult part).

Went to this class literally three times in the semester and got an A. You have to get the book, cause you have online hw from there, but test is literally exact hw questions. midterm and final and one essay 1 page min, in response to sci article due at end of semester. SOOOO EASY!

Studied right from the powerpoints and his exams came directly from mastering biology. study the online assignments well and you should get an A. Plus he curves significantly.

Tests are hard! multiple choice, 6 chapters for the midterm,4 for second test, and 5 for the final. Great personality and highly knowledgeable PHD professor, very approachabl. Be ready to dedicate alot of time studying if you lack a bio foundation.

This class is a joke. We sit and watch movies. The tests are pretty easy, just read the articles and write an outline. If you want an easy A, take him. He's a really nice prof. too.

*Edit* I meant to give him a 4 for each section. Sorry.** Good professor. His tests are quite difficult. If you study the book, you will do fine. You can't really blame him for doing bad in this course. There is a lot of content covered throughout the semester. I strongly recommend reading the textbook. Reading the slides isn't enough.

Professor Cantelmo is a really great and understanding guy who puts a environmental spin on Scientific Inquiry. Classes consisted of going over book Powerpoints. Midterm and final on book material (which are easy as long as you study) and a pretty hefty final project.

A smart professor, but he just goes off of PowerPoints. If you want to do well in his class, you will need to read the book. He curves the tests a ton. Always remember to bring a pencil to the test; there is a point just for that. 3 exams is all that is required; he offers online homework for bonus points. Overall a good professor.

If your looking for an enjoyable class, take. If your looking for the most challenging tests, take. If you don't care about your grades, take. However... If you don't care boring or not as long as the tests are ok and grades are good, i advise you: dont take!

Incredibly nice guy. A real gentleman, and certainly knowledgeable, with a ton of real-world experience to back it up. Maybe a little too lenient, however. Class was sometimes disorganized and students got overly rowdy for a college class. Read from the textbook and you'll get an A. Piece of cake.

Nice teacher and helpful grader but the class is kind of boring. On tests he drops the questions that most kids get wrong while also giving a curve. Midterm Final (all from book) and huge 30 page paper which is the accumulation of 15 2page article summaries. Easy if you manage your time well and start early. Nice man but boring subject

had him for hon2700c. i didnt feel like i learned much but he seems like a nice guy. if youre okay with being graded on a midterm,a final, and a large term paper then this is the class for you. it was hard to learn with just powerpoints all the time. if u know about env.sci. already then take him. he wants his students to do well

He doesnt teach, he goes over powerpoints and its a waste of time and energy IMO. His exams are also tricky. BTW this school has the worst biology prof, but I think he is one od the better ones. But you will fall asleep in class, and I just dont know how you learn with powerpoints when you are supposed to be taught something.

He is very passionate about what he teaches, he always plans out-of-class activities (schooner trip, museum trips, and more) and really encourages all his students to take advantage of everything the university offers. For his class we had 2 tests and one huge final paper.. his tests are very detail oriented.. But overall he is a great professor.
