I had Frank for Against All Odds (which was Statistics) and this was one of the hardest classes I've taken at Stockton. It was a "flipped course" so you had to teach yourself at home and then we would use class time to review. It is really hard to teach yourself math and I found this course really challenging.

This professor is a great man, and does his best to understand the needs of his students, but homework is given every night and quizzes are given every week.

Hybrid course. Meets once a week where he plays a group review game on the previous week's chapters. 1/3 of the way through the semester, he switched it up and began lecturing during class on the previous week's material which was very boring. 4 exams, all open note/open laptop. PRACTICE PROBLEMS are key to understanding the material.

Teach yourself the material and then plays a review "game" in class. Multiple homework attempts but the four tests are somewhat hard. Only four tests a semester but they're all open note/open computer.

He is one of the hardest professors I have ever had. He gives you a quiz every single day, homework every single day and the notes for class don't match up to the homework. The tests are impossible and there are only three total. I haven't learned a single thing in this class, please save yourself and do not take it.

Frank Cerreto is amazing. He really cares and wants his students to pass. If you don't do the work though you won't pass. Quiz every class. A lot of homework.

Frank is helpful and a fast responder when emailed. His hybrid class is a cool concept, putting more time management responsibilities on the student. Attendance is optional, however he does a good job explaining when you are present. The only issue is the conventional teaching style inside of class. Most of the material is in the book.

Frank is super helpful and friendly. He was my adviser as well as teacher for Quantitative Reasoning. The math itself is not super hard as long as you pay attention, do the homework and online discussions. Would definitely take a class taught by him again.

No extra credit, if you want help with an assignment don't bother asking because he won't be around to help you. Expect a quiz every class and the tests are brutal. I wind not take this professor ever again. Absolutely horrible professor.

Whatever you do, do not take this class. He is an awful professor. He does't care about you or your grades. He doesn't ever go over math homework and always says that there is no time and to set up a meeting. He is out of control and makes up math problem and lands like alphabitia. Talks to you like you're in 1st grade & your always wrong.

Beware of Frank Cerreto! The class is all problem solving, no equations to any of the problems (which i'm used to ). Quizzes every class. Insane amount of homework along with Learning Logs which are randomly graded. Doesn't clarify homework and if you would like him to go over another problem he says, "Unfortunately we don't have time for that."

Doesnt really give extra credit. Met in class once a week, but it was a flip course which means we watch videos and read online and we review in class; basically teach yourself. It takes a certain type of person to take a class like that, but I stuck through and honestly made amazing improvements. Wouldnt take again, but hes a GREAT person & person

His class can be confusing later on. Makes u do these quiz thing online and its pointless. The game he plays is also pointless. He should use that time to teach and not play that game. Gives a big project that u have to do from the beginning of the semester.

Frank is probably one of the worst professors at Stockton. He doesn't take the time out to realize how confused his students are, but decides to give you loads of unnecessary homework. When he fails you, he doesn't give you a chance for extra credit. And his M&M's that he passes out during a test are usually stale.

Open everything for his tests, but he does not teach at all. He go over these questions every class and does not teach. You have to learn everything yourself. He makes you work on the project the whole semester long which is annoying and had homework every week. Not an easy General course.

Frank is an awesome professor. I really hate math, but his style of teaching and helpfulness were key to my success in his quantitative reasoning course. I could not ask for a better math professor and I would definitely take an additional course with him :)
