an energetic old man. he has passion for anthropology and hes really loud so you will hear him if you sit in the back. I suggest to avoid sitting in the back because he tends to spit. Fair grader. Test are straight from the txst & lectures. Final based on how to be an anthropologist . Final is super easy. got an A. study u will be fine.Good luck:)

Horrible teaching methods almost to the point where you think he has a hidden agenda... He does makes an effort to tell you that you are not in high school no more just like he says "THERE IS A REASON WHY YOU ARE ATTENDING QQC AND NOT A BETTER COLLEGE!!!" he does tell stories but most of them have nothing to do with the topic. Happy hes retired!

Fun class, cool professor, and very interesting. He goes out of his way to make sure you understand you are in college, not still in highschool. He has 0 tolerance for bs. He has such a passion for anthropology. Loved him!

Not an hard class mostly on the easy side. He keep the class interesting and the exams are multiple choice whatever he talks about in class is on the exam. and be prepare he going to give an writing assignment to go along with the final so you would have to read a next boring book that he hands out. (note and this is not a writing intensive class)

He's stuck in the 60's/70's, but a great and effective teacher. Easy class. Just don't be stupid. All self-explanatory.His stories are interesting and are all hinted at on tests! Defintely recommended!

Professor Lagana knows what he is talking about always during his class. He uses pretty much the same examples relaed to people in Anthropolgy. It is easy to remember that way for exams. His exams are multiple choice and they are very clear. All you need to know is what is on that outline for each chapter he covers.

Professor Lagana is an excellent anthropologist. He knows what he's talking about and his notes and simple. If you fail this class its because you never went, and your own fault not his. His exams are straight from the lectures, so easy! Take him before he retires bc his is great! Don't buy the textbook just the book you need for the final essay.

I'm taking him this semester...he IS easy but..his class kind of drags...maybe because I was taking it during a nap time lol. Anyway, he says things that might offend people..like "when you come to this class, leave beliefs outside the door and take it back on your way out." RUDE! Go figure..

Learned A LOT in this class, very good teacher, talks about the textbook a lot, but dont really have to use it. Talks a lot about the Rastafarians. Has a lot of experience, more concentrated in Cultural Anthropology, which is very interesting. Only problem is he gets spitball at the side of his mouth, so disgusting, but easy.. i got a B

As a lecturer he could be entertaining, primarily because the subject matter was motivating to begin with. Overall though, he was a dislikable professor. He seemed to have the worst expectations for the students at QCC, starting from the way his syllabus was phrased, to the petty warnings in class about what not to do. Arrogant. Exams fairly easy.
