AVOID IF POSSIBLE!!! Terrible teacher, mumbles on and on often digressing far beyond any fathom of relevance. 40% of each exam is over whatever he rambles on about. It's nearly impossible to take notes as you can't understand him and the powerpoints often consist of full paragraphs per page. Doesn't take questions. Unapproachable. JUST DON'T DO IT!

Not a very good Prof at all. Teaches his opinions only. Uses power points that are avg. 80 pages longs. Asks questions that have little to nothing to do with chapters read. Very unapproachable.

He is an awful teacher. I didn't learn anything during the entire semester. He rambles on and on about nothing in a monotone voice. Your only hope is if you have a good TA because they are very willing to help you out. I learned more in the i hour review sessions then I had all semester. Avoid if possible!!

Everyone that i have talked to is frustrated with this class. His lectures are monotone, he rambles on about different subjects, and he is very unorganized. At the beginning of the year he said it was out of 400 points, and on the last day of class he said we could have earned 40 extra points for doing something else. Its not at all easy.

This class is very easy. I suck at school and i got an A almost 3/4 of the way through the course. I didnt even have to take the final and on the third test i only needed a 33 percent. Dont listen to the other kids, yes he dosent teach but you can teach yourself if you cant get an A in this class you have to be retarted because its so easy.

From what I'm seeing, the summer online course is the way to go, but during the year, this class sucks hard. Do not take it. 80 million page powerpoint notes each chapter, hard tests, mounds upon mounds of reading, long stupid papers no other pols class has to do. Offers a lot of points though and extra credit. Not worth the time imo.

I took the online verison of POLS 110 with McKenna. I can't tell you how easy it was! SUPER EASY! He told us, literally said, pick which grade you want and do that amount of work. He gave out extra credit like crazy. I got an A no problem. He offered 700 points worth of work, and you only had to do 360 points worth to get an A.

He is the worst professor I've ever had! He is completely unorganized and doesn't know how to teach. He just rambles on in a very monotone voice and shows a movie. No one even takes notes in the class because no one knows what he's ever talking about or what to write down. His powerpoint notes are 80 slides per chapter. Don't take his class!

Good course on US Politics. If you want know a lot about how the US government and how American politics work. This is the class for you. Gives you an idea on the interworkings of the government. Keep up with the work and you will do fine. Lots of EC.
