Amazing professor. Expects you to come to class and write papers but the topics are up to you and it's all about what you are interested in. Very open and accessible. Mid-term is hard but he practically tells you what's on it. Definitely take one of his classes, it's worth it.

Bohrer is a great professor. He is extremely knowledgable in his subject area and is always willing to help out. People who complain about him being a hard grader are simply not working hard enough. He is very fair but obviously expects you to do your work; this is college afterall

Had him for two classes and he was a really tough grader. He talks about current events all semester and then slaps you with an impossible midterm and final taken straight from the book (which no one reads since it suuucks). Great guy and really nice but kills your GPA.

while everyone seems to like him a lot, i thought he was a really bad professor - very unclear in his lectures, what he wants in papers, very unorganized, has no plan for the class. after he seems real laidback and easy the first half of the semester, he grades the mid-term really hard and w/ his unclear and random lectures, it's not easy.
