Oh my goodness. What a terrible class. Mr Myers was really strict, really rude to all but like 3 students, and his grading was unreasonably tough. Wasn't very helpful in the lab, as a matter of fact, peer review was more helpful. Don't take him!

Horrible, Horrible man. He made very rude comments pertaining to an Asian student in class and even told a student he was an idiot when asking for help with a paper. He does not give you the time of day and expects everyone to kiss his ass. I do not recommend at all in fact I even reported him.

Mr. Myers is of an acquired taste. He is strict in terms of respectful behavior in the classroom. He will not let you talk out of turn or text. As long as you listen and take notes, specifically when he tells you to, you can be successful.

Great teacher with a twisted sense of humor. You have to read and pay attention to pass or he will call you out. Was helpful 1 on 1. Making friendly with him is a good idea, make sure he knows your name.

One of the absolute worst teachers/professors ever!!! He condescends his student in class, is rude at any available moment. He is quick to make an example of you in front of everyone. And helpfulness? Not even. If you don't understand what he is saying he automatically sees you as beneath him. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS WITH HIM!!!!

He's good as a teacher, he can help explain things. But his grading is WAY too harsh. He barely gave any helpful advice in person to help improve my papers. And the papers are the biggest part of the grade. The quizzes are easy but barely count.

Had a bit of reading in this class (summer), but VERY easy class. Reading quizzes are directly on the theme of the story, but are semi-random, so keep up. Watched films of the books often, but TAKE DETAILED NOTES, because you're tested on the specifics. Tests are short answer + easy essay. He grades fairly easily. He gets upset if you dont pay attn

EXTREMELY rude. Definitely makes himself seem prejudice. I have no idea why this man is a professor, I really dont know why he is so mad at the world. No teacher has ever before been so strict in grading, attendance, behavior and attention. I was in time for every class but he found a way to hate me because I happened to look at my nails at one point while he was talking about an upcoming assignment. He has no willingness to help you, ouside his office hours, and he always refers to the syllabys!

Dr. Myers will be the best english teacher you have ever had if you act like an adult and come to his class ready to learn. The class outlines are step by step. He literally teaches you how to write by spelling it out step by step. Very available out of class. He will crush you if you do not show respect for the class (i.e. talking, texting)
