Mr. Seidel's Intro to Python programming class was NOT EASY. But learning a programming language isn't easy to begin with. He was extremely helpful even though he wasn't too prompt with help responses. You need to read the textbook and utilize Youtube and other web content to give yourself a leg up. Overall I had a good experience, Learned alot.

He was honestly the worst person I have ever met. He is so rude and disrespectful. I would never recommend anyone to take his class!

The worst teacher I've encountered so far at FCC. Very disorganized. Expects you to know everything. Doesn't teach. I asked a question and he said "you should already know that." Homework was insane. Nothing was ever clear. He got off track constantly and class work ended up being homework. I dropped the class after 5 weeks.

Do not take this instructor. He is severely disorganized to the point where there's only 1 week left of the semester and I suddenly have 5 journals, 3 quizzes, and 2 discussion boards to complete on top of an over-the-course project. All because he couldn't get his stuff together to assign these things consistently and spaced apart.

He goes off topic a lot and expects you to know everything the first day. There is a quiz every week so you can't skip class. In order to get a passing grade, you need to read and study the textbook. He does a poor job of explaining the concepts so you have to basically teach yourself.

You learn from the book. He basically just goes over the chapter briefly then expects that you know everything. Expect to teach yourself the information as he often gets off topic and does not help students.

Was a really great guy and made class enjoyable. But, the reading was heavy, and is mandatory to pass the quizzes. Some of the discussions and reading response assignments seemed unnecessary, and weren't interesting.

I'll start off by saying he is over all a really nice guy, but he is the type of person who must always be right, even when wrong. Quizzes every week, with trick questions. Chapter readings are unorganized, you'll have a 5 day span to read 20 pages of complete nonsense, but only 12 days to read 100 pages of important information.

He expects you to know absolutely everything about computers at the level he does…..even the first day of class. You have quizzes once a week and no open book. He's not organized and doesn’t update the grades so good luck figuring that out. I would NOT recommend this teacher to anyone. He should really be working for Microsoft instead of teaching.

Worst computer teach ever. I was so confused all semester, he never answered my emails, he walked into the class and just expected everyone to be a computer genius and didn't teach anything. He gave us a syllabus and said turn in the assignments when they are due. So many people dropped the class. I definitely would not recommend him for a teacher

Great professor with a wealth of experience to impart onto students. His classes are easy to pass as long as you do the work if you don't you will fail. He can be very helpful but he does expect you to do your own research first.

Overall good teacher. If you have a good work method there's no reason why you should get anything under a B. He offers help after class or before. His midterm and final are fair. Just study like any other class. He is a late grader though. Its been over a week since school ended and I still don't know what I got in his class. You just have an idea

He is just a terrible instructor and Advisor. I have gone to him several times and he pretty much runs away from me. He never returns my emails, and the "sign-up" sheet on his door always happens to dis-appear a week after the semester starts, leaving you no method of contact unless you happen to run into him on campus. I do not approve!

I signed up for an object oriented programming class and instead of focusing on that, we discussed AT&T mergers, Word, Excel and Internet Explorer. He's way off topic and I don't appreciate him bringing his politics in to the classroom. Why are we debating corporate mergers in a programming class?

He missed 5 classes and was 10 min late to majority of classes he bothered to show up. Unintrest in teaching shows in his boring lectures and rude manor. He was unwilling to help me on major projects when he did not create clear directions. Overall terrrible professor, don't expect to learn anything.

I took his class online during the summer session. That was not easy because he gives a lot of homework. However, he is helpful; he answered to my e-mails, and he is not strict about the assignment deadlines. If you do all your assignment and quiz, you would easily have an A.

Great professor, has led an extremely interesting life and has personally shaped what computers are today. However, he is a fringe liberal. Don't talk politics with him and he's a great guy, good person, great class discussion.

I took his course online. There is a lot of work, but if you keep up with it and turn everything in you can earn an A. I never had any problems with him answering my emails. I would recommend taking his class online.
