Doc Thomas was a high school english teacher for a while--and he was a good one. I had him for junior year, and still remember his class. He was and still is, a favorite of students, long past. He had a way of reaching some kids who were hard to reach. I recall feeling challenged to think, and appreciated for my work. Good guy. Pierre.

Frank Thomas was a great teacher. He had a relaxed atmosphere and actually made me enjoy Moby **** and somewhat understand Walt Whitman! The most hilarious things about him were that he usually took off his shoes in class and he had a crooked little pinkie finger.
