It was nice of him to come out from the gulf islands twice a week to teach, but ubc needs to find a new prof for this course. His dry sense of humour and affinity for puns were amusing, but not very useful for learning physics.

Not a bad person. Those cheesy poems and jokes really don't help much in understanding the material nor do they make the coures more interesting. BTW, is it that difficult to just post the solutions onine rather than on a corkboard in heb? gimme a break. He should be teaching in arts in my opinion

Cheesy sense of humor, a nice guy but his notes are messy and confusing. Our class last year had a 30% avg while the other section (different prof) had an avg of 70%, sorry to say it but avoid his class if you can.

Also had him for 170 - i think he knows that he's way too smart for all of us and dumbs his exams down to make up for it. He writes sonnets for his classes and legend has it he speaks 9 languages. Fun, as long as you aren't prone to panic.
