Mr. Mench is a great professional teacher. He will help you and work with you to understand the material. Due to my own fault I failed for not attending the required classes. Really wish I was smarter about it since he was such a great teacher! He also wrote me a great recommendation to study abroad.

Mench- very nice man who means well and will help you but personally I couldn't survive Ovid. Unless you're really into Greek Mythology and intensely studying it, I would avoid it. It does get boring and he teaches the full length of the class. So be prepared.

A really great guy and great teacher. His classes are long, but interesting. He is always available to help and responds to emails within a few hours. He is easy-going. He appreciates a well-written essay without grammar mistakes. He is my favorite professor. Funny guy.

Great professor. One of the best courses I have taken at Stockton. Learned a great deal - this course is not for the faint of heart. Do the work and reading and enjoy the reward of much acquired knowledge!

He's my favorite teacher. Every1 who i know who have taken his class luved it. Most of the bad posts against him r from a lit class at the 3000 level. I'm guessing that the material for his class is too much for those students, not his teaching(this is college, jeez). He's crystal clear in his explanations and he really understands what he teaches.

All of you with negative remarks have no idea what you are talking about. He was the kindest man and willing to do anything to help you along (for me it was LAtin IV). He is one of the most intelligent men I have met. I had him for six classes and each was great. I learned more from him than any other class, just by asking him questions. I graduated with a 3.7 from a graduate program and it was his influences that kept me going...

VERY boring and teaches as though this is material you've been taught since you started walking. Stumbles over himself constantly and corrects himself 10 minutes after making a mistake. "Oh, and what I said in the beginning of class, I meant to say that this is him, not the other guy."
