Learned more than I know. Humble, rare and relevant character. Most students can't see where he is coming from because of their limited template for learning. Wise man from the old school who used an array of methods to convey ideas from an astonishing base of knowledge. Wanted nothing more than to share enlightenment from a fascinating culture.

He is a great professor. Very helpful. He is hard to understand because he mumbles a lot, but his exams and papers are very straightforward and he will help you if you have any troubles. Shows a lot of videos, which are very interesting.

I had Prof. Blackwell back in 2000 for a history class, I found him to be on auto-pilot and just out of touch with the students. Stay away, you can do better.

Great Professor, watch tons of videos..which I thought were more helpful than his lectures. 1 paper which was easy to do, 2 exams which were also easy..all essay of course. tells u what you need to study before exams. helpful!

He is a nice professor but mumbles a lot and can't hear very well. It is kind of embarrassing to ask any qestion because he will walk over to your desk to hear your question. His exams are easy I thought. You watch a LOT of vidoes, gets kinda old.

As a senior at WSU, I can tell you without the slightest hesitation that Blackwell is the worst professor I've ever seen. Avoid him at ALL costs.
