She is amazing! This was my first ASL class ever and I really enjoyed the way Miss Griffith's class flows. She makes sure everybody is following and participating. She always find the way to help students to understand her lectures. Not a class for chatter bugs, lol. There is no talking during the first part of the class. Fun overall.

Pat is an amazing ASL instructor, not to mention a wonderful human being all arouund. You practice vocabulary often, therefore tests are easy! There are a few papers, but as long as you show effort, you'll get a good grade.

As a person Pat is fantastic. In the classroom she can be a bit unorganized which means she repeats herself a lot. BUT she has a deep understanding of ASL/Deaf culture, so if you're willing - you'll learn a lot! Don't expect to use the book. Homework and presentations are ridiculously easy (IF you know ASL).

One of the best teachers Grossmont has ever seen. I liked her so much after 120, I made sure I had her for 121. She's corky, easy going, & invested in her students success. She showed the vids in class. I got an "A" w/o the text. If you're interested in the subject & show up, this class is easy & a lot of fun! She inspired me & changed my life! :D

Pat has changed my life! She's such an awesome and invested teacher. She's funny and a true delight. Even at 5pm after a long day at school, I'm eager to go to her class. I've learned so much. She's instilled a passion for the subject in many student. She's left handed, so it's easy just to mirror her. I got an A in her 120 w/o the text.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Pat! I have taken her for ASL 1 and 2 and am so sad she's not teaching ASL 3. She's the nicest teacher I've had at Grossmont, and she really helps her students. She is a wonderful teacher. She has made this class fun and interesting to me. She makes me feel comfortable even if I make a mistake. Im not afraid to make mistakes. Usually I sit in the back of a class for fear of being called upon, but in this class, I sit right up front. I am eager to learn.

Pat is one of my favorite teachers. I took her for ASL 1, Fingerspelling, and ASL 4. I couldn't have asked for a more wonderful teacher!! Attend the classes, pay attention, and simply try she is there to help you along the way. Has simply increased my love for ASL and has really pushed me to become an interpreter. THANKS PAT!

Mrs.Griffith is amazing. I took her class this summer and as usual any 6 weeks class/course isn't not going to be simple or easy. However, her class was simple and easy. Pat was a pretty good teacher. She would sign for half of the class and then speak. I didn't like the class at first, but as we got ferther into the semester I began enjoying her teaching and the class activities. Although at times she signed very quickly, I would definitely recommend her as a teacher. Just PAY ATTENTION in class. seriously.
