Comment:

The one thing that struck me as strange in this course was that this professor did not do ONE example in class. All he did was read off of his PowerPoint slides that closely resembled what we had in our textbook. Also there were a few questions in the final exam where critical information was forgotten by him which had to be added DURING the exam!

Three years ago the bike project was horrible, ambigious, and a huge time waster. And when we asked him if he could explain what his instructions meant, he puts up a slide of a frozen fish. I hear it is exactly the same, three years later with the exact same missing information. What a waste of a course

he will spend a whole class telling you how to be clear and concise and to the point. what irony. slides are useless and all he thinks about is lance armstrong and his 20-grand bicycle. TA's are even more useless and cant speak english. in other words, be prepared to get lost BEYOND BELIEF. this prof is not meant to teach.

If you have noticed, it is the younger students who do not appreciate this prof. He is a well educated person with a lot of experience. He prepares you for the real world and if your not ready you are not going to like him. Take plant design, its one of the best courses the dsepartment has to offer.

Bendzsak is a real engineering prof. His approach teaches you engineering - not math. Maybe that's why all you equation monkeys didn't like him.

this guy really is senial. he's terrible. dont' even bother going to lecture, you'll get better sleep in the library. i really liked materials after 1st yr, but since him and and damn cadrepro projects...lost ALL interest.
