The worst math teacher ever. She was impossible to follow, did not explain anything and could never hear the students questions. There is a quiz every friday and three tests. If you want to teach yourself the entire course take it with G.Broome, if you want to be taught, learn and enhance math skills take any other teacher possible. Poor experience

Wow. This teacher is awful. RUN! Math is a hard enough subject at this school and she does not help at all. She does problems halfway and never gets her own questions right and ends up leaving you pretty confused at the end of class.

Honestly one of the WORST math teachers I have ever had. She is a sweet woman but horrible at anything that has to do with teaching. Seriously dont take her class if you care about your grade.

Nice woman, terrible teacher. Goes over problems quickly and doesnt answer questions well. Test questions are always far harder than homework and quiz questions. Tough Class.

Nice Woman, Bad Teacher. Her explanation of material is not clear and is distracting as she is NOT TECH SAVVY but utilizes the smart board and technology for everything which can screw you. Her presentation of it is not interesting. She assigns too much homework. Don't take her class.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE! I went into this class without a calculus background and came out without a calculus background. She makes mistakes on the board every class so she makes your notes basically useless. 70% of class time is devoted to learning how to use the smart-board and TI-Nspire calculators. She's incredibly nice but an awful teacher.

I've never taken calculus in high school, so I have trouble with the material. She's very nice and does give partial credit, but she moves at a fast pace and the online homework system is frustrating. Poor start with this math class so I'm disappointed. I recommend a different teacher if anyone has a class with her unless you've taken calc already.

I took regular (non-AP) Calc senior year of HS, and I found this class to be easy. If you've never taken Calc before, then I could definitely see how she's not the best teacher for you. But then again, she doesn't get into actual Calculus until late October (Sept-Oct are gen. math review). Uses an online hw system thats a bit frustrating, but ok

I LOVE GAIL! SHE IS SO CUTE AND SO NICE. CLASS IS EXTREMELY EASY AND SHE GIVES SO MUCH PARTIAL CREDIT. I NEVER KNOW WHAT I AM DOING FOR THE QUIZZES BUT THE TESTS SAVE ME BECAUSE THEY ARE THE SAME THING AS THE QUIZZES. TAKE HER!!!

Doesn't seem to understand how to teach Caluculus, makes frequent mistakes, is technologically challenged, makes things more confusing then they need to be. If you've taken Calculus before it's an extremely easy class, I mostly just worked on my DWC homework during class time because you don't need to pay attention if you've taken Calc before.

Mrs. Broome is the worst math teacher I have ever had. I highly advise no one take her course, she doesnt know how to effectivley teach the material. Her constant quizzes and material you just learn doenst help your grade. She makes mistakes on the board in class, and goes at such a fast pace. Doesnt answer questions well. Very poor calculus prof.

She is a nice lady, but at the end you never get the grade you worked for. She has a werid grading system, you do very poorly on the quizes, tests are actually the saving graces of the class because she gives insane partial credit. Just for referece, she is better than Derderian, but that is not saying that much. PC math teachers suck. lol.

Professor Broome is hard to learn from in class because she skips steps on problems, goes to fast, and often makes mistakes. However, if you go see her during office hours she is extremely helpful and you can actually learn the material. I never had calculus before in my life and I'm not the best math student but I did alright with Broome.

Very nice person, will share anecdotes with the class every week. teaching style is a little confusing as she does the example problem out on the board and jumps to answers (assumes students follow every step). should do fine in the class if you do all of the homework assignments. goes over homework in class but makes mistakes.
