Absolutely horrible. Makes tests extremely tricky and difficult completely necessary the way she makes her tests as if we are all in medical school. almost the whole class got c's and d's. worst professor at rutgers that ive had by far and im not exaggerating.

Extremely hard, have taken this course twice already with the same prof, because i had no choice. hired a tutor and still have not been able to pass this class, she made the class even harder the second time around, she will make your life a living hell if you need chem for your major.

dr. raynor assumes students know much more than they do.. she does probs on the board w/out explaining why/how she got her final answers.. the book helped way more than she did (and the online homework is a must*).. try to avoid (esp since you'll have lab w/ kluiber no matter what - sucks)!

She was my recitation teacher. She does make her quizzes hard, but if you read the book and go to lecture you should do fine. People say shes mean, but if you show her respect she will show it back. I went to her office hours a couple times and she really helped.

DO NOT TAKE HER FOR RECITATION. Her quizzes are impossible and she gives you very little time to finish them. She treats recitation as if it were a graduate level chem course. And She needs to retire and to dress more appropriately when coming to class,she wears puffy teenage girl shoes. Shes old so hopefully they get rid of her soon.

She was my recitation TA for chem I.Sometimes she is nice, sometimes she is mean. Some of the questions on her quizzes are kind of hard and she gives a very little time to finish them even though they contain many parts. When she explains, she isn't clear. Read the TEXTBOOK, it is very helpful! Don't expect to do well without doing the homework!

I took Dr. for both PChem 2 and SnB. I have to say she's extremely difficult. She's also highly emotional--she's on the verge of tears if her students don't do well. So you can't hate her as much as you'd like to. The classes she teaches are what determine you cutting it as a Chem major or not so study your butt off.

very boring. especially her tone of voice! wasn't THAT bad though. you really need to work hard to get a decent grade. if you do your homework you can definitely get a B+ or A and she is extremely helpful when you need some extra help. exams might seem easy but are very tricky

Fortunately, does not rely on a large, unwieldy textbook, but instead provides clearly written lecture handouts that also contain plenty of example problems. Spend the necessary time going over the handouts and you WILL do well. I hear her style of relying on handouts instead of large textbooks is what they do at Ivy schools. Worked for me.
