The most boring class you could ever possible take. I had to read a book that was so poorly written that im embarassed that somebody tried to pass it off as education.

I took my college scholars seminar with Professor Cooper and she just sat there the whole time and expected us to talk for three hours. She was not involved in the class at all and it was a complete waste of my time.

Comment:

She'll teach you everything you would ever possibly want to know about Japanese industrialization from the Meiji to the modern era. Very friendly, helpful, and gives good examples. Her lectures are really good and won't put you to sleep. She can be absent-minded, though.

Comment:

Relies exclusively on lecture notes and seems lost without them. One day she happened to forget her notes and could not address any students' questions. It was alarming to see a professor at Lehigh (even an associate professor) with such a flimsy command of her subject mater. Very unaccomidating.
