Great class discussions with a really interesting and smart professor. The class is heavy on talking about students' opinions rather than her lecturing about readings. She is super knowledgable - only downside is insane amt of papers you have to write but she isn't too harsh of a grader at all.

She rocks! She gives a ton of essays but if you try on the essays she will give you an A and if you don't she will not. It is not difficult to get A's on her papers but she does read them so you do have to try and you do have to go to class she gets mad if you don't. If you go to class and try you will get an A and she is very interesting.

Laura is a hoot! I have her for Healthcare policy and I sit there 3 hours at a time, loving every minute and never bored with lecture or discussion! She's engaging, funny, and makes you want to take everything you can from her class.

What an awesome, unique class!! Very well taught; Prof. Olson obviously knows the material backwards and forwards, and enjoys teaching it. Class was fun an interesting, and Prof. Olson was always pleasant and helpful. I'd recommend her to everyone.
