I had Dr. Meyer for chem lab and she was great. Always willing to help and explain to those who do not understand. Her exams were a little tough, but so were every chem lab professor's exams. Definitely a solid choice if it fits your schedule

Dr. Meyer is a great professor. Her lectures are clear, and she posts many other resources to help you learn, such as videos, study guides, and practice exams from previous semesters. She also records her lectures and uploads her notes from class. I would definitely take her again.

This was my second time taking the course. I thought I would never pass because chemistry is just too hard. However I'm happy I did have to retake it because now I feel so much more confident in my chemistry abilities. Awesome awesome awesome professor!!! Chemistry is difficult but a professor as great as Meyor makes it much easier.

Attendance in this class was for extra credit. Lots of extra credit opportunities exist. The instructor was very clear in her lectures, and I did not often use the textbook. She does give a lot of homework outside of class.

Chemistry is a hard class for most students but Prof Meyer gives you everything you need to pass. You get extra credit for just coming to class everyday which can improve your exam by a whole letter sometimes. Go to class, do the homework, and go to the SI sessions and you can for sure make an A. Exams are normally similar to study guides.

4 exams400,hw100,final100,EC-10pts. Overall 600 pts. She gives you a point everyday if you sign in. Her tests are little difficult. She gives you the old exam to study. The final may replace lowest score if it helps. She is willing to help. Lots of math in chem2. She is BY FAR the best chem professor at UTC. TAKE HER!

Loved her. She does a great job explaining concepts and helping clear them up when you're confused as long as you ask questions. If you have a grasp of chemistry the class should be a breeze. If not, make sure you show up every day because she covers A LOT of material in each lecture. Lots of extra credit help cushion your test scores too.

I love her! Yes, her class is hard, but it's the material. She gives you all the tools to at least pass her class. Very nice and gives great feedback. You're allowed multiple attempts on homework until you reach 100% and the extra credit really helps in the end.

She is very organized & she always has open office hours to help. She gives study guides and does exam reviews before all the tests. It's pretty clear what she wants us to do, it's just that the homework and exams are so hard. Not all of it is multiple choice. I think that goes for any Gen Chem II class though. She's great, it's just a hard class.

Overall an easy A, but her lectures are long and boring. She doesn't explain things very well, and I taught myself most of the time. Some people like her teaching style, but I couldn't really pay attention to her.

Dr. Meyer is a great teacher! She is always willing to clear up any confusion about any topic. Her lectures can be lengthy and boring, but in order to pass you should go. Tests are basically like hw. Her extra credit was adding a point per day you were present to the test. This can add a letter grade!! If you plan on skipping, godlike passing!

Dr. Meyer is amazing. She gave us extra credit points just for showing up. The analogies she uses for hard concepts really helped me and honestly saved me in some cases. Her tests can be hard and you do need to study to pass, but Dr. Meyer is great and willing to help!

She is a great teacher. She does not take attendance but proves that attendance equals better test grades! She makes everything easy to understand, then if you don't she offers lots of chances to ask for help(in class and in office hours) I got a C in Chemistry in high school and I made an easy A with her.

She is a very sweet teacher and is willing to help those who are wing to do the work. She does assign homework and quizzes over each chapter but doing the work really helped me learn the material. Her exams were very similar to the practice exams. You will have to study though to do well.

Meyer is an amazing professor. She explains everything to the last detail and makes sure every student understands it. She genuinely cares about every student. Her tests are not hard at all, she gives you the test from the semester before which has the format and all the areas to study. She does have a lot of homework and quizzes but they're easy.
