Comment:

She assigns about 5 novels throughout the semester so the reading is heavy, but we never have assignments outside of class (other than the reading) and she tends to get very off topic during lecture. Very caring person otherwise and she is definitely very passionate about her field of study.

Good teacher. Rather boring tbh. You have to buy books online they're decided in class by voting. It isn't too bad but tests are weird because she doesn't tell you how to prepare, but pretty easy.

One of the worst teachers I have had. She doesnt give out As. She makes oh write multiple papers and doesnt give any feedback and then grades them hard. She doesnt let you re-write any papers. Very unspecific about what she wants and grades unfairly. You have a Journal you have to write in every day and turn in. I do not recommend her.

She's so sweet and really cares about how her students do. She usually just talks about nonsense majority of the class, and then towards the end she makes you write about an article. She only gives 3 essays which have a minimum of 5 pages. And she assigns you to write in a journal everyday but it really isn't bad

She is a fantastic professor. She really cares about her students and want you to pass. The final grade is based on 3 papers through the semester. She wants to read good work so you can hand in drafts but she doesnt give A's easily (B+ is more common). Do your best and improve your writing, she will see it and will grade you fair.

I really like Gailanne. She wants you to write good material, so she lets you hand in drafts before the final papers. A total of three research papers with a minimum of only five pages. No tests and some in class reading. Tells you to read stuff outside of class but you don't have to. Semi-easy grader. Can shove her politics at you often

She's a semi tough grade but not really if you're not good at writing papers. Papers have to be 4 pages long. Attendance is not mandatory if you are getting a b plus or above on all papers. But she's reallyyy nice and friendly. Make the effort and you will be rewarded. Probably one of my fav teachers although she has a tendency to drag on.

Dullodd class, but very easy. Teacher literally stood in front of the class and discussed EbolaIsis on a daily basis. Not one graded homework assignment all semester. Looked up all the readings on Sparknotes. Skipped class approximately 10 times. Only 3 assignments (midtermfinalproject). Played Trivia Crack daily in class and still got a B+.

Easy teacher, very nice lady. She's pretty hilarious too! Easy grader, lets you revise your essays a couple times and lets you hand in papers late. She's very lovable, gets off topic sometimes though, she has an attendance sheet but never added anything into the grade

Comment:

Professor MacKenzie provided a class that was an absolute pleasure to be part of. The novels she chose were phenomenal, she cares about her students immensely, and was not a harsh grader at all. Although many of the classes were off topic, she was a kind teacher and a genuinely good person as a whole. Would definitely take her again!

A very nice old fashioned professor! She gets very side tracked with discussions that have no point to class topics! You have to read a few books that are interesting. It's fairly a easy class and she takes the time to sit down with you. If you show interest she will show interest towards you! No doubt anyone can receive and A from her!

She is crazy, basically, but super easy. She's not really clear on due dates, but she let's you write it until you think it's the best. She often gets off topic and talks about the most random things. I only had to write 2 essays and write in a journal every day. I recommend her class if you want to take an easy class.

Not as much reading as a expected but still a good amount but in good books so its not like work. tests are a little hard but fair. do the reading and keep up. participate in class so it doesnt sound like crickets in the room whenever she asks a simple question
