Brilliant guy, knows his stuff, one of the worst lecturers I've had. Terribly boring lectures, but if you can make it through the first test the information starts getting more interesting. His first two tests are copies of his handouts, but the final is a lot of concept stuff and NOT comprehensive! Only over the post midterm info! Blindsided us.

Amazing professor! Seriously brilliant. He repeats himself a lot but that is highly welcome considering most professors don't explain well enough. He is constantly making sure the class understands the material. TAKE HIM for ECO 339!!

Professor Simmons has a very straight-forward expectations. The material is difficult; yet he gives you plenty of time to do it. He also gives you extra-credit. There is NO reason for you to fail this class, unless you are lazy.

MUST take him for ECO STATS!! I had an A the whole semester and I suck at stats, I ended up making a B because of the cumulative final, but I should've prepared harder. He goes through the material SO CLEARLY! and attend SI especially before exams and you will do GOLDEN! He's great, MWF classes suck but he is SO worth it.

He only does MWF stats classes, but he is definitely worth it. He explains hard subjects so thoroughly that it becomes simple math in your head. Can get repetitive and boring. Does call you out for using phones, having your friends sign the attendance form, and calls on students that aren't paying attention. Quizzes will make or break an A or a B.

His lectures did not match the hw and required the class to read the entire (unhelpful) textbook. Spent first half of the semester trying to understand what he wanted us to learn before anything he said in class really made sense. He is a very nice person, and encouraging, but his ability to lecture and explain anything is definitely lacking

For a non-accounting major this was a tough course, and taking online makes it even harder. All exams must be proctored. He is fair, and provides notes to help you understand. He also grades on a curve, which is very helpful!

He is a really good teacher. I ABSOLUTELY hate any type of math there is on the earth, but he is one of few to actually teach it to you step by step. Test are easy when you understand the material. 3 test, a lot of quizzes, easy if you know the material the previous class. Not that bad of a class.

A very good teacher. Wants everyone to do well. Expects you to act like upper classmen. Tests are very fair. Class is not an easy class, but he does make it enjoyable applying it to real life scenarios. For a required class for my degree, I'd take him again. He makes going to class fun and wants you to succeed.

Wants to see you do well, but is rude about when you're not giving him 100% attention. If you're late you will be yelled at. He gives great notes; really detailed. Must read the book, know his notes, and I was told to learn how to use a finance calculator outside of class. I dropped due to the intensity of his class.

Dr. Simmons is a GREAT teacher! Really wants his students to understand the material! He says all the time that he would rather you be bored than terrified of the material! explains the material exceptionally well!! I really dont understand all the bad reviews! Take good notes, go over them at least twice before the test and you will be FINE!!

I really don't understand what the big deal is with everyone. I am not doing exactly great in the class, but he is a very very good teacher. Explains things very clear, his classes are always fun to attend. And the material is really not that hard, just study, take good notes, and there is no reason why you should not pass this class.

Took this professor for Eco Stats 339, I went to class everyday and sat in the front row. I understood all problems until it came to test time. Test are extremly hard and the amount of material needed for the tests is unreal. Gets very confusing. Final is comperhensive and extremely difficult.

He is definitely weird but a good professor none the less. He grades tests unbelievably easy and he curves. The tests are just like the examples done in class. If you understand your notes, you will do well on the test. Overall good guy, even a little funny.
