Very vague about what he is expecting for test. If you have questions you need to ask. I would definatley recommend going to see him during office hours to find out what he wants for exams, he will tell you. Do well on papers they are an important part of your grade. Participation is an easy way to boost your grade. Read the book!

He tends to ramble on about different topics that have nothing to do with topic. Hard to know what is going to be on tests. Also cuts off class discussion, but tries to encourage talking at the same time. Thought I'd enjoy it, but found myself dreading that class everyday I had it. Homework assignments are quite easy though.

He is an unfair grader. Grades on how well you brown nose him, as oppossed to how well you know subject matter. He has limitted knowledge of subject matter himself, and if you disagree with him politicly, your grade WILL suffer... and he is my academic advisor Will never recomend him to ANY student EVER!!

Very unclear in his lecture. Rambles on and on about who knows what. His tests are ridiculously hard. You HAVE to read, take notes, hand in your notes, and get graded on them. Has weird, non sense lectures. Very hard to pay attention. Don't take this class with him if you don't have to!!

Intro to POLS In't and Comparative studies was my elective, it is a really good class if you are interested in what's going on in the world today. He picks good books to read that relate to current events. Discussions are good and he is clear on what he expects from the class. Nice guy who knows what he's talking about. Overall great class.
