I have been teaching and coaching for a while now and I DAILY recall and use what he preaches in his class. Be willing to jus trust hind do what he asks, I promise you it makes all the difference in the class and what's more, in your own classroom someday - and isn't that the point? He develops skills that make you a better teacher/coach.

Arbo is awesome! PES 315 was a very good class. I learned a lot from arbogast. Those who do not like them are usually the ones who do the minimum to get by. If you bust your tail and show up to every class, he will respect you greatly. He is one of my all time favorite professors here at CMU. He knows what he's talking about, so listen.

Knows what it means to teach to future professionals. You aren't meant to be in PE if you do not understand why he teaches the way he does. Pay attention, do what you're supposed to do and he'll respect you for it. He's willing to help if you ask and is very sincere about his profession and wants others to be passionate as well.

I didn't think he was that bad. He taught what he was supposed to. I learned what I was supposed to. As long as you know your stuff & give him the respect that you should give any prof you'll probably be okay. There were maybe a couple times when it seemed like he singled someone out.

A** hole at first. He is very opinionated, isn't flexible and doesn't care about your excuses BUT he did help me to prepare better lessons. The critiqing isn't bad if you have a positive class. Just dont get too stressed out about it. Make sure you dress profesional & participate-he'll like you.

He's an idiot. He takes a look at you the first day of class and grades you from that. He decides right off the bat that you will never be as good as him (and he's not that great.) He especially doesn't like girls. Loves the athletes though.
