Dr. Bothe is an excellent teacher. His class is hard if you don't study. If you're used to doing the min. in studying this isn't the class for you. You have to earn your grade but it isn't impossible. He teaches you things that you will use in life. GREAT CLASS

Mr. Bothe's class is the College course I am most proud of taking. He does make you earn your grade, but he has passion in the subject he teaches and tries to deliver that to his students. I studied by butt off because I had to, aced the class, and I feel like I actually learned something and earned my grade.

Yes, his tests are hard if you don't study. You can make up for average test scores though by turning your papers in early which he gives an insane amount of extra credit for. I got an A in his class by aceing each quiz which are easy because every one is right in the book. Don't be a fool and you'll find yourself in a good position.

I do not suggest that anyone take this class! It was by far the hardest class I have taken. For me he made the class more difficult. He gives a cumlative exam that he does not review for. His test are worded really badly! I personally wouldnt take this class again.

Dr. Bothe while clear in his lectures is by far the toughest professor for Psychology. His tests are extremely difficult, and doesn't give the tests back for you to use when you study for the final (which is comprehensive.)

Dr. Bothe expects a lot from you but he is a very very good teacher. I love psychology and that makes it easier but as long as you show up, take notes and study for your quizzes and tests, you're golden. Also, there are 3 papers but they are easy and he grades very fairly. Loved him. Would take him again for anything!!

awesome teacher. i tell everyone i know to take his class. if you study you will do fine. its not an easy subject, but he makes it interesting and fun. he has a dry sense of humor, but overall it was an awesome class.

good teacher..has pop quizes (easy..know the CH terms and people)..tests - must read text and overhead proj. notes helpful..couple of papers to write..gives 5 BONUS PTS for turning it in early!..overall must read to pass!

I think he was a pretty remarkable teacher. He didn't just hand out grades -- you had to earn the stuff. He isn't going to hand-feed you everything. Good "real life" experience. His class is a challenge, but it's worth it.

He's a good teacher, he does well at making the subject interesting. The tests aren't difficult if you study, and they're all multiple choice. The essay assignments were fun to do, and he gives you plenty of time for them. He didn't really go over the final exam, he expects you to take notes from your missed test problems and study those.

An okay guy. He has been teaching this class forever and has it down to a science. I think he has his lectures memorized! If you want a really good grade you will have to read all the material and do all the study guides, which is A LOT of work. In my opinion the study guide isn't worth buying. Tests are moderately hard. Quizzes pretty easy.

Dr. Bothe is a nice guy and all but this class was way too hard! I got perfect 100s in all my classes and graduated in the top of my class but for some reason I did not do so hot in this one! The material is easy but he makes it difficult. His test are hard and unpredictable! I would recommend taking someone else or another course!
