Comment:

Dr. Creasey is so awesome! He conveys his material so well, and also helps you apply it to modern life so the concepts actually stick when learning. You have to be present for class to have the notes-as they are not posted online. I would recommend to other students to take his psych 201 class.

Comment:

Dr. Creasey made this course very enjoyable and I would take it again in a heartbeat. Good faith papers are done in class and as long as you have a pulse, you will get 100% on all ten of them. The rest of the grades are 3 tests and as long as you go to class every day and go to the review sessions the night before the test, you will get an A or B.

To me, psychology is boring but Creasey made it interesting! He somehow kept us engaged throughout lectures, and explained everything so that it could relate to us, as college students. The tests aren't that bad. Just go to class, listen, study for a few hours the night before and you'll get an A. Gives extra credit. Dont buy the book-just show up

Pretty good teacher, grade is based on 3 tests and 10 short response "Pop quiz" style papers. You need to go to class to pass. Gives study guide and has review session for each test. You DO NOT need to get the book. Don't waste your money; if you plan on going to class, you won't need it!

Lecture is enjoyable, great examples. Test all multiple choice so they're not bad. Overall, great teacher except for his capstone assignment. I integrated course material like he asked and he told me all I did was "take information from the notes" so... extremely frustrating.

Interesting lectures. Test reviews were useless. I knew more than the TAs giving the reviews. I read the book, notes, took the online book quizzes and still struggled with the tests. Has poor guidelines for the big paper. Even though it wasnt an easy A the class is very beneficial and eye opening.

He is an excellent professor. Material is presented in an interesting way with great examples to help you learn it.It's an easy A if you do the work, and you'll learn a lot too! He offers class trips up to Chicago Public Schools and it opened my eyes to what needs to be done up there. I'm actually considering working up there now. Take this class!

Awesome Class. Tests can be challenging but if you study you wont have a problem. I encourage doing all the extra credit because he will round your grade up. The review sessions can be helpful since she gives away answers. He does simple paragraph good faith papers 4 coming to class so make sure you go to class each time so you dont loose points

he's a nice guy. you don't need to buy the text. just listen to what he says and take notes from the ppt. talks a lot about family and tries to make the class interesting/relevant. also, start the virtual activity early or you will regret it.

Wow! is all I have to say about Dr. Creasey. He's a very intelligent man, but he is so down to earth and easy to get to know. He loves to teach, and is great at it! He's very available for if you need help, will give you feedback if you ask for it, and grades very fairly. He is a very interesting man and I would recommend him highly!

Dr. Creasey is one of the most awesome professors at Illinois State University. I had him in my last semester there a few years back. He loves teaching, and psychology is one of my favorite subjects. You must attend class, however, as you never know if he will give an in-class assignment. Very clear, fair, and fun to work with.
