I've had a really rough semester and was unable to attend some classes. Mr. Haynes was completely understanding and allowed me to make up the quiz I met. He's very educated and funny. Class only has 6 quizzes and a test, pretty easy. Definitely would recommend him again and again!

Dr. Haynes is easily the best professor I have had at Nevada. His courses may not always be interesting but he tries hard to liven up the subject matter and is willing to answer your questions if you ask him. He is fair and makes his classes so that if you attend lecture and get the core concepts you will succeed, and you do learn something too.

Dr. Haynes is funny and very interested in the subjects he teaches. The class I took was a bit challenging due to the TA, but he makes sure grades are fair and that your grade reflects the effort and time you put in. I like him as a professor and recommend him to anybody. Go to class. It's worth it.

Loved the professor and loved the class. His teaching style is straight forward and clear. The workload is manageable and I found it very, very interesting (I'm not a ANTH major). If you want to take a worthwhile diversity credit, take this class!

Professor Haynes is fantastic! He really loves his area of study, he speaks in a way that is not boring, and he keeps class easy and manageable. Not to mention he loves to say jokes, and he rarely keeps the class the entire class time. Take his class!

Professor Haynes is a wonderful instructor. He goes out of his way to help students, especially if they are truly interested in Anthropology. He makes class interesting...attendance isn't required, yet I never missed a class. You wont want to either.
