Over the two courses I have taken with Mrs. Sloan, I have come to deeply respect her. She is truly among Harding's all-star professors. Be sure to come to class because the class is given pretty much entirely through lectures! The tests are entirely short-answer and are based on information that anybody who went to all the lectures should know.

I absolutely love Mrs. Sloan. Her kind heart and crude sense of humor is a joy to be a student for. I look forward to each day of class. Your tests are compiled from your notes. So memorize everything she says because it will be tested.

Lori is such a textbook extrovert and that comes out in her class lectures. She makes a real effort to get to know all of her students personally and that is always such a nice gestures. She is so open and willing to be available when needed. Her notes come from the powerpoints and it will be on the test. She has fill in the blank and m.c.

Not a bad class.. take Lori if you can. She is lively and has good stories on applying the information to real life. She isn't going to force the knowledge down your throat - you get out what you put in so study as if you want the information to be retained. Three tests and two group presentations. Overall, a great class.

Lori rocks. This is a really solid night class option. There are two tests which she provide study guides for, and then there is a team presentation and the final is a solo presentation. Not much work, yet you still learn and you become involved in the learning process. It's great!

THE BEST. Not many grades, fun class, she gives reviews for the tests which were easy. The only tough thing was the oral quiz which is kind of like a pop quiz in front of the class. Don't waste money on the textbook. She has great connections and is always willing to work with you. Definitely a relevant class and I'm glad I took her.

Mrs. Sloan is very wise and has a ton of business experience to back up her lectures and advice. She is genuine, funny, and she will help you if you ever need it. She only gives one test, most grades come from paying attention in class and the two sales projects so make sure to put in the effort and pay attention!

I've have two classes with Mrs. Sloan and have loved her! She's very down to earth, informative, and caring. Professionalism is very important to her but she wants to have fun in class too! She tells lots of stories so be ready for that. I'm a graduating senior and she has honestly been one of my favorite teachers here.

Waste of money. She's easy, but rude & unprofessional. I took 3 classes with her and she taught the same thing in every one. Don't buy a textbook, she will tell you to buy it, but she doesn't use it. You are spending too much money for this class to have her as a teacher. Didn't prepare me for the working environment at all.

A Waste of my money. We spent nearly 3 wks on a 1-page handout on how to be a "woman of the towel". She informed us that "beauty is a talent", used multiple exclamation points on a professionalism handout, and refers to herself in third person repeatedly. Learned nothing about business ethics.
