Was helpful but I have to say, he teaches code on a chalkboard. He has bad handwriting and he abbreviates things when writing code on the board. This seems like the worst way to teach this when we have a computer attached to a projector in the classroom.

Ok so having years of previous programming experience I didnt have much interest in this class. However, I did attend his lectures and participate in the class. I would rate garys performance in teaching the introductory concepts of computer programing relatively high. The assignments are simple but they do make you think. Overall ya I'd recomend.

I had him for 1207 during the summer of last year. There were times it was hard. I even did extra credit. I bombed the tests. But thankfully, I did so well (I still don't know how I did it) I walked out with a B in his class. He is a good guy, I have nothing against him and he was helpful when you needed help.

Amazing teacher! Not slow paced but not to busy. He covers the material over and over catching stragglers up to speed. His course start off slow and basic, then mid way thought it hits that perfect difficulty. By the end your doing things you thought was impossible with great ease. 350 can't describe this teacher. Take his courses it's worth it.
