Gary is a kind person, very warm and easy to confront with any issues/questions, but his teaching style was poor in my opinion. He was so boring and monotone, and repeated himself all the time. He is a sweet man but I would not recommend taking a class from him.

Not only is Gary an excellent, top-notch professor, but he is genuinely a very nice, caring person. He quickly sparked my interest in Sociology, and has impacted me like no other professor has. I can't speak highly enough about him.

He's a good guy, and a fun teacher. I liked how he set up the course, it was easy to learn. A bit of a hard marker, but nothing too bad -- he's fair. Very fair, and lots of fun. A great prof.
