Good guy. 10 Problem Sets on material you're currently learning that week and weighs 30%. Don't take them seriously/hand them in late will hurt your grade. A lot of extra credit/more assignments to bring your grade up. Use the textbook to do the problems he assigns. Negative comments are bcuz they didn't do HW/readings. If you try you will get an A

Really nice guy. Gives Problem Sets on things we are just learning and they are worth 30% of grade. They can drop your grade if you don't try/hand them in late. He gives a TON of Extra Credit for them though which helps alot! Exams are pretty easy just make sure you study and know the material well. The textbook helps so much! Don't skip lecture!

Levvis a caring individual and doesn't expect anything too unreasonable. As people have said, he's a hard grader but he really wants you to succeed. He really likes if you participate and if you ask him questions after class. If you are struggling, get to know him and ask how you can improve. This class is very passable if you put in the work.

Pretty good guy but the material is difficult and he's a hard grader. I went to him after class a lot and that was a huge help. So if you're struggling, go to him for help. He'll see that you want to learn and will appreciate it. Also, be sure to participate. That's a good way to get on his good side.

You should definitely speak up in class cuz he'll really appreciate that. Do the readings before class so you can participate. He's a pretty tough grader but if you study you should do fine on the tests. Homework is a big part of your grade so take your time on it. Not an easy class but if you put the time in you should be okay.

He's a stubborn guy but he really knows his stuff. He grades everything hard because he wants to get the best out of you. The class is not easy at all. It requires a lot of work so if you are looking for an easy philosophy class, Levvis is not the one to take it with. If you really work hard he will take notice and give you a good grade.

The class is tough and he's a hard grader. You need to really put in the work to get a good grade in this class. However if you go to class and do the assignments, you can do well. If you're looking for an easy gen ed, take someone else.

Class is a little boring but then again so is every philosophy. He's a somewhat tough grader because he wants you to earn your grade. Pretty good teacher though. You need to come to class prepared so make sure you do the readings. Midterm and final aren't bad if you study. Not a bad guy to take philosophy with. If you don't get something, just ask.

Do the work, do the readings, pay close attention in class and you will do well. Philosophy is a tough subject for a lot of people but I actually somewhat enjoyed this course. He really makes you think and makes you work for your grade but it's worth it. He will help anyone who doesn't get something which is great. I would recommend Levvis.

Professor Levvis is honestly a great guy, he can be funny in lecture but sometimes the class seems to drag on. You really have to love the topic of philosophy and logic, be very articulatedetail oriented and literal. It's a difficult class and he's a very tough grader. Homework was 58% of our grade. Not an easy A course but a good teacher.

Good professor. He is a brillant man and nice guy. Grading can be a bit tough but if you show actual effort he will take notice. Reading like any philosophy class, is very painful, and is required for class discussion. I recommend you try and speak up when you feel you have a good point, he will appreciate your participation
