Professor follows the book exactly. No real surprise. Very interesting and animated professor and moves though the material ath the speed of light. If a student doesn't ask questions, the Prof. Asare doesnt' stop...so ask lots of questions and pay attention.

OEM Program. Don't ask any questions about his exam. Gave final exam to proxy. Exam was 40 computations with a 2hr time limit. Be prepared for examples with donkeys and MM corporation. Death by PowerPoint and nothing more.

My favorite professor in the Fisher School of Accounting. Definitely seek him out. He makes the material much easier to understand by using funny analogies. His classes are largely lecture based, but I always find them to be engaging. Just pay attention to what he is saying in class and you should be fine on the exams if you can grasp the concepts.

Great professor. He makes the complex simple and is a very good lecturer. Definitely look for him when choosing an acct class. As with any acct class,exams are hard, so practice, practice, practice.

Asare is very enthusiastic and makes the material much easier to learn. You must study a lot to do well in this course and you should do not only every suggested homework problem but all others available for each chapter. His tests are reasonable and if you work hard enough the A is attainable.

Awesome professor! He makes the material more interesting with his jokes. Also, he is so intelligent in accounting its crazy, he makes the material way easier to understand. The exams are fair if you study and keep up with the material...have to study a great deal. Would definitely take him again in a different class if possible!

mr steve is the man. he is a bit confusing as to his testing methods (changed from all free response to both mult choice and free response to all mult choice). he's also got a doctorate in other stuff besides accounting, a smart man. rambles a lot, but very informative and hilarious. grading was interesting, but you can do well in this class!

For all you ungrateful souls, I'm pretty sure that he was jettisoned by the UF accounting department for making his stuff too easy and contributing to grade inflation...be grateful you did not have to take the class with Demski or Lin this past year.

This class is not as bad as everyone makes it to be. And his accent is not THAT bad. Its understandable if you just listen. I did all the lab hw even though it wasnt collected, it is VERY helpful and go to labs too they are also helpful.

This class does have difficult material; however, I thought that Asare was not clear as to the concepts and theories, which made the material more difficult. It is probably better to read the chapters and attend lab - difficult exams.
